I went with my husband and 7 year old son and we had a good time in Simantro. Loved the view and resort surroundings with all the greenary around, best part was the beach side and beach beds Beach was beautiful my son enjoyed. Overall we had a good experience, i would only recomend few more restaurants to be availble to eat. Other than that nice experience, nice staff and good food.

This resort is secluded, surrounded by pine forest- air is fresh and there is a beautiful hiking area closeby. Beach is sandy, and mostly clean. Food was excellent- variety and quality. Rooms were clean but outdated furniture- we didn’t mind. Fitness centre didn’t have free weights, and was opening at 10am- which was too late for me. All in all, would return!

Otelin konumu harika. Orman içinde denize sıfır. Odalar geniş ve temiz. Ek yatak daha rahat olabilirdi. Plajı kum yeteri kadar şemsiye ve sezlong vardı. İçinde cafe ve market var. Tek kötü tarafı kahvaltısıydı beğenmedik. Çocuklu aileye çok uygun bir otel tavsiye ederim

The food (buffet) is horrible! Breakfast and dinner buffet horrible! Everything crab! The rooms have never been cleaned - until we claimed / asked for it. We felt like WE are the problem to them - already at the reception by doing check-in - and also at many other places in Greece. We came for a Big Fat Greek Wedding and the greek Bride told us that the Greeks are like that and she feels sorry for it. Maybe one reason why she left Greece long time ago. We will never ever come again to Greece. The food wad also not good at other places- beside two or three exceptions.

Inte 5-stjärnigt hotell. Full betyg om den hade annonserats som 2-stjärnigt! Exceptionellt trevlig personal! Bra läge!

The beach is excellent, everything else is not

Relaxing place to stay. Good food, friendly staff. Had a good stay but 2 main issues, there is chaos in terms of parked cars & please could they address the “reserving sunbeds” as it seems to start at 6am and a quite crowded beach becomes impassable

otel bizce çocuk dostuydu. plajı kum, denizi sığ ve sakindi. odalar ortalamanın üzerinde ve temizdi. yemekler ile ilgili yorumumuz şöyle oldu " karnımız doydu ancak gözümüz tatmin olmadı" belki de müslüman olmamızla ilgili de olabilir, kendimize uygun pek alternatif bulamadık. ancak yine bu otelde konaklamayı planladığımızı da belirtmek isterim

The hotel is not a five star hotel, maybe three stars with greek standards. It says that they offer a gym. Thats not true. Every machine in the gym is broken and there are no free weights. So there is nothing you can use to train with. The gym does not exist. The rooms are really old. Probably nothing has been done since the hotel opened. It was not clean and the everyday cleaning was really bad. They gave us dirty sheets and towels. Spiderweb in the bed and dust everywhere even after they cleaned. Everything is really expensive at the hotel they take advantage of the situation where there is nowhere else you can go to shop food and water. The water cost more than what is legal. The ice cream is super expensive. They even charge the sunbeds on their private beach. Peole get to put their towels on the sunbeds in the morning so noone can use it even if there is noone there. The kids club operates in the morning and afternoon when you want to go swimming. There is nothing to do for kids in the night. And the house for kids is also really old and badly taken care of. Almost no toys and not a place where kids want to spend time in. The people who works there get irritated when you give constructive criticism. The food feels mass-produced instead of genuine.

Been there twice, in a relatively short period. First time there were hardly any guests, second time pretty full. In both cases staff is very helpful, very friendly. The resort biggest asset. Special compliments for the Front Office, wellness & restaurant(s) staff. The resort is definitely money worth, but not the mentioned 5 stars. For truly 5 star rating the building / rooms urgently need a proper update. We stayed in building 3, the rooms are nice & spacy but as said, very old. Toilet (plumbing), wall outlets, tiles, wifi, they all need some work.. My biggest point of criticism would be the Gym.. that is really a "no go", even unsafe to use the running machines. They should be replace at once. Woudl I come back again? Yes. Definitely money worth and I love the kindness of the people

Overall a nice 4* experience, definately money worth! Biggest plus: the people. All very friendly and very helpfull. Nice! Although it was very quiet, all services very provided. I love the location, right on the beach, also 3 nice pools. Only one negative point: the gym..very old, should definately be renewed.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Simantro half board. Easily accessible from Thessaloniki, beautiful authentic architecture and lush Green surroundings. Safe beach and stunning terrace looking over it. Very impressive buffet spread and super friendly staff. Had a massage at the spa from the lovely Georgia and bought souvenir gifts from the minimarket, made friends, relaxed and we even swam in the pool despite the cooler time of year. I would highly recommend.
