Excellent Business Stay with Personalized Service This was my second stay at the Pegasus Hotel in Georgetown, Guyana for business, and once again, it was an exceptional experience. The hotel is well-located near the waterfront and offers a clean, modern environment with excellent amenities. My room was exceptional—spacious, quiet, and well-appointed—making it easy to both relax and work. I was even able to host small business meetings in the room comfortably. What truly stood out was the staff. They greeted me by name each day, remembered my preferences, and consistently went above and beyond to make my stay smooth and comfortable. That level of personalized service made a real difference. The breakfast buffet had great variety, and the Aura Sky Lounge offered a beautiful view and relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, perfect for remote work. I highly recommend the Pegasus Hotel, especially for business travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service in Georgetown.

I wish they had a microwave property.

I stayed at the Pegasus in June 2024. My daughter and I were travelling to meet the family for a bit of a reunion. All of us booked at the Pegasus while the rest of my family stayed in the older hotel. The hotel gave us a wonderful surprise and upgrade me and my daughter to the new hotel and business suite. As a regular business traveler, I can say that the accommodations were excellent and really shows at this hotel is getting ready to compete in the business market. The accommodations were clean new and the building felt very safe and secure. There was a minor problem with some smells in the shower, but the staff came up immediately flushed and fixed the issues. I plan to return next year and definitely will be looking at the Pegasus as my first choice.

Everything was great except the gym was dirty. Staffed is very friendly, the manager greeted me and welcome us to the hotel. Before I checked out I notice a note under the door stating we get a complimentary two hours checkout which was very nice because our flight was delayed. We will definitely come again.

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful until the last day when there was a failure of the air conditioning system. This made the final day at the hotel, very uncomfortable. Period. The service at the hotel was excellent, and the staff was very accommodating to all of our needs, we would recommend the hotel for others without any reservations

My stay was amazing. The room was in great shape, the breakfast omelettes were tasty and the service was great.

There was a problem with our Expedia booking and the manager was extremely helpful in resolving the issue. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Checked in late. Female staff member seemd upset and dismissive. Male staff member was friendly. Despite some upgrades to the property, it still seems a bit outdated and needs some more work. Appreciated the upgrade at no cost, but as i arrived late there was no meal option available and no water in the room. Must remember to walk with my bug spray. Mosquitoes were brutal.

Unfortunately, I made a mistake and the reservation was rebooked twice. And after so much insistence they refused to refund me, and stuck to their internal cancellation policies, even when they realized it was a mistake and I was there. They could have charged the first night and canceled the other two, it would have been the most understandable and logical thing to do.
