Smooth and easy check in. Friendly staff.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful two bedrooms downstairs one bedroom upstairs loft type beautiful kitchen. Everything you need to cook a meal great living room, beautiful deck. We were there in the winter so we didn’t use it. Wish we could have washer and dryer in a beautiful laundry room. Would go back to this property Again and again and again.

Wir schliefen in einer Hütte im Garten, die direkt an einer viel befahrenen Hauptstraße und einem Pizza Lieferservice angrenzte, bei dem sehr viel los ist und ständiger Verkehr herrscht. Wir hatten zwar eine schöne Terrasse, aber keine Sitzgelegenheiten (Möbel). Und dadurch war sie leider nicht nutzbar. Das Personal war nicht per Mail erreichbar. Den Whirlpool konnten wir auch nicht nutzen, da wir keinen Schlüssel dazu hatten, bzw. uns keine Auskunft gegeben wurde wo wir einen Schlüssel erhalten.

TV non connessa. Doccia e cucina non fruibile. Casetta posta di fronte a decine di bidoni rifiuti, rumorosa perché sulla strada. Salti mortali per accedere al microonde. Materasso troppo elastico, che scivola continuamente. Prezzo esagerato. Consigliato solo in caso di necessità

Vi hyrde den lilla stugan. Det saknades vattenkokare. Micro fanns men stod på golvet. Tv fanns men var inte funktionsduglig. Golvet kändes ruttet på en liten yta mitt i rummet.

The place had some nice aspects, but it could benefit from refurbishment.

Abbiamo alloggiato nel cottage piccolo, uno dei migliori in assoluto in cui abbiamo alloggiato in Islanda, cottage pulito ed era presente tutto quello che ci serviva compreso frigo, forno microonde e wc privato. Anche la cucina comune molto pulita e organizzata

Wonderful accommodation, had everything we needed and more. Staff excellent! Would highly recommend.

Beautiful area and great location. The cottage was spotless and so was the kitchen/dining area. Very relaxing.

We loved the rural feel while walking distance to restaurants and a large grocery store.

In our trip around the ring road, Akureyri Cottages was the nicest property at which we stayed. We had a party of 5 and there was plenty of room to spread out. It was by far the best value for the $$$. The cottage had its own washer and dryer and they were free to use. We had use of a private hot tub. The property also has a nice patio with a grill. It would be a great place to use as a home base if you are spending more than one night in Akureyri. I highly recommend.

Nous étions dans un cabanon extérieur sans isolation pour le bruit a 10 mêtres d'un rond point sur un boulevard très passant donc beaucoup de bruit et de la difficulté a dormir

Perfect cabin for our large family. Rooms comfortable. Nice large kitchen. Easy to get to.

The cootage was nice and we hgad alittle toilet and basin for ourselves. The shared kitchen was not to our taste since it was so full on our first day. We than packed plates, forks and knifes to have breakfast in our Cottage. When we came back in the evening the Hosts gave us fresh kithen towels for our dishes without us needing to ask them for it. The staff was nice and helpfull. The bunk bed seemed a Little insecure but I sleeped well.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed. This was our first hostel.

The email communication prior to our arrival was helpful. We were given clear instructions on the check-in process and everything went smoothly upon arrival. Our cottage was immaculate. The one thing that we misunderstood when booking was that the toilet and sink are in the small cottage, but the shower is located in the main building. If that was explained anywhere in the hotels.com listing, or in the pre-arrival communications, I completely missed it. The property is managed as part of an adjacent hostel, and a shared shower is common in hostels, but I didn’t expect it in the cottages. A simple change in the listing to “shared shower” might be helpful for others. Would I stay again? Absolutely. We liked it!

Una cabaña preciosa, con mucho espacio y posibilidad de usar una terma en el exterior. Fácil acceso desde la carretera N1 y con supermercados y restaurantes cercanos. El baño no tiene toallas ni productos de higiene (posibilidad de alquilar)

We are 75 and the unknown were a hoot! Cheerful check in, had some local food coupons.
