지도에 숙박업체 이름이 검색되지 않아 처음 예약 후 찾아갈때 조금 애먹은 것 빼고는 다 좋았습니다. 보일러 작동이 잘 안되어 숙소측에 말하니 곧바로 해결해주어 감사했습니다. 이외에도 숙소측에서 게스트를 매우 잘 신경써주어 잘 머물다 갈 수 있었습니다. 숙소는 매우 넓은 편은 아니지만 새 건물인것 같았고 깔끔하고 아늑했습니다. 다음에 미바튼에 가면 또 묵고 싶습니다.

un petit chalet en bois très confortable, cosy, avec une vue splendide et dégagée sur le lac et toute la zone. Pas de vis à vis, petite jardin privatif, petite terrase, donne vraiment l'impression d'être privilégié. Et nous avons eu la chance d'admirer une superbe aurore boréale grace à cette vue exceptionnelle. Un must, on recommande sans hésiter.

ALOJAMIENTO PRECIOSO

This cabin is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Host/Team is very responsive in helping us with the check-in etc. Very functional home - easy to cook and wash up in the kitchen the Icelandic chocolate snack is a thoughtful touch. Coffee, tea, salt, pepper, olive oil are provided in the kitchen. Bathroom & bedroom is clean. It was quiet and secluded for us during our stay there as nobody was using the campsite at that point of time. Overall we definitely enjoyed our stay there - it has good space for 2 and kitchen prep space is bigger than other cabins we’ve stayed. Very functional and clean thank you!

Unfortunately, we were unable to stay at the cottages due to water damage caused by the weather. The owner contacted us and got us set up with a house nearby. Very good communication.

The little house itself was perfect. The amazing view to lake Myvatn is incredible. Beds are rather soft at least comparing to other beds in iceland. The bathroom was very little and the shower had a little dark spots at the bottom. However, the check-in and communication was not good. I was instructed to do the checkin at another location (Elda house) which is 2 Minuten by car away. Unfortunately there was nobody at Elda house. There was a bell and a phone number but no one responded and I needed to wait a long time until a lady appeared at the area of Elda house. I just asked her what to do and she said that the Checkin for Aska Cabin is directly next to the cabin. This worked well then by the way. However, I waited for nothing and this check in here and cabin there back and forth was more annoying than anything else.

Beautiful little cabin with everything we needed. Lovely view and very central to the area. It gets hot in the summer and if there is no wind I would be a bit worried about the bugs, but because it was windy they left us alone with the windows open. I’d recommend a screen window or door to aid this. Also the door to the bathroom needs a new sliding rail or something. Had to practically lift it to move.

If I have to find a complaint it would be that we had to drag our luggage up and down a hill to get into our cabin, although our cabin was very clean and comfortable.

Wonderful cabin! This cabin is so cute and well designed. Also the staff are very kind and helpful. It’s in a campground as other reviewers have noted, but the cabin is in a very quiet spot, it felt private to us! We were unaware that the Myvatn area is known for its many flying midges and unfortunately the cabin didn’t have screens to keep them out! We would have loved to bring in some fresh air and sit outside on the cabin’s deck!

Schönes Haus, tolles Design, wenn auch Preis Leistung nicht erfüllt. Das Bad / der Abfluss roch leider sehr unangenehm und Wasser floss nicht ab. Das Haus hat nicht wie auf den Bildern gezeigt eine Alleinlage.

Nous avions réservé pour 3 nuits. Nous avons été surpris de découvrir que la cabane se trouvait au milieu d’un camping ce qui n’était pas indiqué mais soit, elle était confortable et avec vue sur le lac. Les choses ont changé le deuxième jour quand nous sommes rentrés et qu’une enfilade d’une dizaine de tentes s’était installée à cinquante centimètres de la terrasse. Le jardin mentionné dans la description signifie jardin collectif. Fini la vue et les apéros sur la terrasse. Nous sommes allés signaler le problème, 2 tentes ont déménagé mais la vue sur le lac n’est pas revenu. Donc très décevant. C’est la location la plus chère que nous avons prise pendant notre séjour et loin d’être la mieux. Le prix n’est pas justifié : la cuisine est bien équipée, le lit grand de bonne qualité mais pas de rangement et une salle de bain exiguë.

Nice cabin on a camping. Back had everything you needed, good bed, soft towels. But room could not get totally dark. We found it too expensive for what it is

Loved the kitchenette and how it was stocked with at least salt/pepper/oil, but I'm not sure why, but when we opened the windows since It was warm, there were about 50 flys that would fly into the cabin and park itself on the inside of the window, same when we opened the sliding doors. Poor location of the cabin? We were not close to any swamps or water. This was the only downside of this location.

We really enjoyed our stay overall, but we were very disappointed to find that there is a next door cabin and that you are in the middle of a campsite. We had people running around all sides of the cabin and very little privacy if any blinds were open. Overall, the amenities shown in the pictures and described were exactly as shown, but even the one picture that shows a neighbor seems a bit blurred. We were disappointed to have been misled, as we thought this was going to be a secluded cabin. We would have been less disappointed if we had known about the situation upfront.

Wunderschöne, gemütliche, chice Hütte in ruhiger Umgebung direkt am Myvatn-See. Sehr nette und äußerst hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die sich sehr viel Mühe um unser Wohlbefinden gegeben haben!
