Hafnarstræti Hostel

우선 아쿠레이레 가장 번화한 거리 한복판에 위치하고 있으며, 주차장도 인접한 곳에 공짜 공영주차장이 있어서 인접성이 좋습니다. 무엇보다 캡슐 호텔은 처음 경험하는 것이었는데, 생각보다 개인 공간도 넓어서 놀랐고, 욕실, 식당, 놀이시설 등 공용 공간의 관리가 아주 잘 되어있어서 만족하였습니다. 아침 식사도 제법 괜찮은 퀄리티였구요. 아쿠레이리에 다시 간다하더라도 이 호텔에 머물것 같습니다.

市街地にあり食事や買い物など非常に便利な立地でした。 駐車場は市内の駐車場で16:00-10:00の間は無料のところに停めました。 壁が薄いので多少周りの音は聞こえますが、写真の通りのカプセルホテルでした。共用キッチンがあるので自炊もできますが、キッチンの利用は朝７時からなので早くに出る人は、外で何かを食べる必要があります。 USBの差込口はありますが、コンセントの差込口はありませんでした。（それらしいものはありましたが、給電できませんでした）

Stay was okay, but you have to keep your luggage in luggage/storage room provided inside the hostel.Limited parking in front of the Hostel and you have to pay for parking if its parked outside the free parking hours.

This was a great property in the downtown of Akureyri. The location couldn't have been better. Though it was a hostel, it was very clean. The property also provided many amenities.

Ett mycket prisvärt "hostel"-alternativ i Akureyri. Bra tillgång till kök och kyl mm. Nackdelarna är två: 1) "poddarna" man sover i är alldeles för varma och ventilationen usel - det var nog ca 25-26 grader därinne, ca 8-10 mer än jag tycker är en bra sovtemperatur. 2) duscharna behöver lite underhåll - dräneringen är nästan igenkorkad i flera av dom, vilket gör att ouppmärksamma gäster orsakar översvämning på toaletterna. Faktum är att i en av duscharna tog det bara ca 2 minuter innan jag tvingades stänga av, vänta i minst en minut för vattnet att rinna undan och SEN kunde jag sätta på igen - nya 2 minuter osv, osv. Personalen är väldigt trevlig och läget perfekt. Det går också bra att få åtkomst till "podden" och faciliteterna på dagtid om man stannar mer än en natt - viktigt att veta. Ett annat tips: är du gammal och lite stel - se till att parat med personalen så att du får en "underliggande" podd - att klättra upp till dom överliggande är inget man gör när man börjat gå med käpp! I alla fall inte utan att hamna på sjukhus.

The pods were amazing. Having your own little quiet space was just the best. They are spacious and so comfortable- I had a single and had space to store some clothing items. There are coat racks and a good storage space. It is kept clean and is lovely and welcoming. The bathroom Facilities are very modern and it’s about 12 toilet/ shower rooms. There are 2 lounge areas - kitchen and at the back of the hostel and the outdoor area is also lovely. The kitchen facilities are great too and everyone did their bit to keep it tidy. Would recommend and would stay there again

The pod hotel idea is cool, and the pods are quite cozy and nice. However, there were a lot of very loud rude people in the pods around me coming in and out after midnight. It's very loud in the bottom pod when someone is disrespectfully stomping up their steps and opening and closing their door all the time. I got very little sleep.

Well thought out. Our first experience with capsule sleep pod. Comfortable, safe, quiet. Well organized system for checking & well equipped kitchen.

Die Kapseln sind erstaunlich geräumig und gemütlich. Die Küche ist toll ausgestattet und es hat alles was man benötigt. Die Badezimmer sind sauber und zahlreich.

I agree it's a pretty fun and unique place to stay at. However, you'll be lucky if you get the upper bed. I was given the lower bed and I couldn't trust the quality of the pods enough when the person on top kept moving around. Much worse creaking sounds than normal bunked beds. The pods are made of plastic that felt so unstable. Don't expect the pods to cancel out the noises because it doesn't. I can hear so clearly the people around me snoring. The mattress are kind of thin but honestly wasn't too much of a problem for me as I don't like soft bed. Rarely did I see any staffs in person. You'd have to ring a doorbell to get into contact with them. The locker rooms are kind of beaten up. One thing I do like however, is that there are a good amount of restroom/shower rooms.

Love the capsule concept and the facility is fully equipped and modernized. Love it!!

I did not hear anything from them. Did not even got a reminder or that i had a booking. And did not want to assist in anything. Sorry.

Our stay was not up to the excitement I had when I first booked this hostel. The idea of it is great. However I believe management is lacking in some regards. First we were concerned that we would not be able to make the drive(due to road closure) however talking to management on the phone, we were told roads would open up and if they do, we would not get a refund. So we drove, 10 hours, through very difficult conditions to say the least. Once we arrived at 11pm. We did self check in, to find our pod was dirty. After calling management, we got another pod. We were hoping to shower but the towels were locked and were for rent of 1000Kr each, so we couldn’t. The first night we realized that only one vent in the pod worked. So we became extremely hot inside the pod. We asked for ANOTHER pod, towels, and laundry. We were able to get another pod for the rest of our stay. However be warned, the two vents are extremely small and it still can became hot, not as bad as the first night. We’re able to get towels for free from management thankfully. We found out that the kitchen and laundry were closed due to renovations, we were not aware of this at booking. Luckily we were able to go to the hostel across the street that allowed us to do laundry there. Also the TV did not work for us in both pods we were in, we tried multiple different tries to use chrome cast and the movies download on the TV. But neither worked. I hope these concerns are brought up in the future, has great potential.

I really enjoyed the single capsules and the open kitchen plan, as well as the quiet/respectful guest arrangements. I will absolutely stay here again, and for longer if possible, as it’s very quaint and it’s in the middle of the town. Thank you for an amazing stay and keep up the amazing work!

La ville de Akureyri est top, l’auberge est hyper original, bien placé dans le centre, je recommande vivement, très peu fréquenté en période hivernal.

The first time that I have stayed in a pod - so comfortable with air conditioning, power, high speed WiFi and a tv.

Awesome Asta took great care of me since I went on the plane (she was sitting behind me) she's wonderful and very keen on her job! She made sure what not to miss in the local area and I'll never forget my giant ice cream.

Value for money................. Walkable No shower gel in the shower. Not enough tissue
