호텔 게이시르

게이시르 바로 앞에 위치한 호텔로 아침에 조식먹고 산책겸 게이시르 다녀오기 좋아요~ 저녁에 싱벨리어 국립공원 쪽으로 오로라헌팅 갔다가 오로라도 봤네요. 객실도 넓고 난방도 잘 되고 따듯한 물도 거의 온천수준으로 잘나와서 완전 추천합니다.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and would stay here again! It’s modern and cozy and set in a beautiful landscape. The restaurant has great food and the staff is very friendly.

Das Hotel war wirklich toll. Sehr angenehmes, ruhiges Ambiente, zuvorkommendes Personal und stilvoll eingerichtete, großzügige Zimmer. Das Badezimmer war wundervoll und der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer war ebenfalls wirklich beeindruckend.

A luxurious treat. The breakfast was sufficient to keep you fed for the day and the ambiance was so nice it was difficult to leave!

Can’t say enough good things about our stay here. We arrived in the evening in the snow which was a nice surprise! We got checked in and were able to snag a reservation at the on-site restaurant right away. The food and drinks were delicious. After dinner, we enjoyed walking through the hotel and seeing all the different artwork on the walls. The room was very nice, spacious, and clean. The bed was very comfortable. In one of the cabinets we found a fan which was a nice surprise as everywhere we have stayed on our trip has been on the warm side. The next morning, the breakfast was superb! This isn’t just your run of the mill free breakfast. Different varieties of meats, cheese, bread, yogurt, hot items, coffee, hot chocolate, and the ability to make your own mimosas! We left feeling pretty full! Across the street are the geysers and we really enjoyed being able to walk across the road in the snow to watch them. Will absolutely stay here in the future if I am in Iceland again!

We loved the hotel and our room but were very disappointed with the restaurant and food which is unfortunate because it’s not like there are other options nearby. We had dinner there and breakfast and both were pretty bad. My husband did the tasting menu for dinner and I was craving something simple so I just got the burger. His was just ok and my burger came out bloody. I understand this is how Iceland serves burgers but I specifically asked for mine to be well done. When it came out bloody I sent it back and could hear the chef complaining which is completely unprofessional. The chef at breakfast was also rude and the breakfast food was honestly terrible. Overcooked boiled eggs which is something that is so easy to get right. Greasy pile of paper thin bacon. Just bad food. I understand chef attitude when they cook amazing food - not the case with the chefs at hotel Geysir. Hotel Kria had much better food. It’s a shame because this hotel itself is so cool and it’s not like there are any other options nearby for food.

The complimentary breakfast was so good, the standouts were the fresh fruit, hot foods, geysir bread, hot drinks, and the mimosas. The hotel is stylish, clean, and comfortable. It’s an easy walk to the geysirs.

Drykkir til af öllum tegundum, mjög góðir þjónar. Ég er á leiðinni í morgunmat, hann verður vafalaust góður líkt og maturinn í gær.

Well maintained

We enjoyed our night, and wish we would have stayed longer. The bathtub was huge and great for a soak if you're tall! The vibe of the entire hotel was clean, sophisticated, calm and spa like.
