호텔 노르더랜드

Hotellet var ganska trist och första intrycket var slitet. Personalen gjorde det se skulle men i te mer. Lite leenden hade gjort gott. Hotellet var väldigt tyst och vi sov jättegott. Så efterhand tyckte vi mer om hotellet. Frukosten var som allt annat trist. Basic. Hela hotellet var basic.

Hotellet er meget slidt. Ingen elevator, fair nok - det et et gammelt hotel. Men intet tilbud om hjælp med kufferterne til 2. sal. Ingen at få kontakt med på det tlf.nr. man skal ringe på udenfor receptionstid. Morgenmaden er meget simpel og dele af buffetten er af dårlig kvalitet. Ingen rengøring 1 ud af 2 overnatninger. Manglende opfyldning af håndsæbe på badeværelset. Vil absolut ikke anbefale dette hotel. Prismæssigt ligger det på niveau med andre langt bedre hoteller i Akureyri - så book på dem i stedet.

Alveg kominn tími á að taka herbergið sem við fengum í gegn. Vorum með þriggja manna herbergi og það virtist sem helmingur hefði verið lagaður til en restin ekki. Niðurföll á baðherbergi voru stífluð, bæði í sturtu og vaski.

Extremely outdated and small room. Good location. Breakfast was good but limited seating. Had to sit in the lobby to eat.

Friendly staff. Convenient location. Walk to downtown in a few minutes. Very nice breakfast. No elevator if that is a concern for you.

Outstanding customer service. Comfortable and clean room. Good shower. Bed cosy. Great location. Fabulous area for the Northern Lights. Great choices for breakfast, including good healthy options for me.

Having traveled extensively, I can confidently say that the hospitality and attention to detail at your hotel truly stand out. I would like to commend a few exceptional team members. Ana at the concierge was incredibly helpful in recommending a fantastic local restaurant and provided impeccable service during breakfast on August 23. The cleanliness and comfort of our room were also outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking city view from our window as well as the meticulous care provided by the housekeeping staff. The parking is paid parking between 10 am -4pm in front of the hotel. There were vegetarian and gluten-free options (great gluten-free bread) for breakfast. It was very easy to walk around and see the sites in Akureyri. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel was easy to find and we were luckily staying on a Friday night so the metered parking in front of the hotel was free. Lots of places nearby within walking distance to eat. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Room at the front was a little noisy from road noise. One of the bath towels had a hole the size of a baseball. Liked the provided shampoo and conditioner and heater in the bathroom. Tea kettle in the room.

Staff was amazing! The hotel its self is so cozy and the drive is definitely worth it. There is also a waterfall you can hike to from the hotel

The hotel is right at the heart of Akureyri, excellent location, walkable distance to almost all tourist spots in town. Just a bit noisy at night as pedestrians are on their way to bars and restaurants, and crazy sports car revving at night during our stay, which is extremely disturbing. The hotel is rather old, well kept but it shows its age. Staffs are friendly, and lovely breakfast.
