We stayed for 4 nights and loved it.
The property is on the marina and is a lovely quiet area. It is a short walk from everything, and there are lots of restaurants within a short distance. Although there is no parking listed on the property details, we hired a car and there was lots of free parking behind the hotel in a safe area.
We had breakfast included and there were lots of options available to suit all tastes.
We arrived early after a very early morning flight hoping to have our luggage looked after, but they allowed us to check-in early which was brilliant. We even got upgraded for free to a residential suite instead of the double room we booked as I mentioned it was my partner’s birthday, and this was a really nice touch!
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and provided great advice about the local area and any excursions.
The room was clean and spacious and the bed was really comfortable.
Would absolutely stay here again, can’t recommend enough!

Beautiful conference room where I could close the door for phone calls. Cinema that you can book to plug your laptop in for a screening. Food is fairly mediocre.

Hotel was great. Wonderful restaurant. I highly recommend that you include the breakfast in your stay. One of the best buffet breakfast list I’ve ever had. The location is convenient to the bus routes and an easy walk into the shopping area where there are many restaurants and bars

the hotel is well located on the Marina and walking distance into the main town centre, with a bus stop right next door for any tour pick ups. The staff at check in and out were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately breakfast wasn’t included as standard unlike other hotels we stayed at during our time in Iceland. The l'occitane products in the bathroom were a nice touch.

The Marina Hotel is a GREAT place to stay in Reykjavik; it's close to the water and a marina, but also in walking distance to the center of town and has numerous amazing restaurants all in walking distance too; plus the bar/restaurant inside the Hotel is excellent also. It has a unique and very cozy style with a big fireplace inside the lobby, lots of different rooms for groups to gather if needed, and the staff is super nice. I enjoyed staying there very much for 5 days and would stay there again!

A fantastic hotel to stay in. It doesn't look much from the outside, in fact when we visited the space directly out the front looks like a building site. Don't let that put you off, the inside is lovely.
Staff were very helpful, breakfast was fantastic, and the location is perfect for exploring all the amazing things the city has to offer.

Very good location to visit the Lava show and the Fly Over Iceland but also to go to “downtown” Reykjavik.
Good restaurant and bar with friendly staff. Only downside was the Christmas dinner only offering a price fix menu that was pricey .

I loved staying here. The view at the marina was wonderful from my balcony. The location is really close to city center so that it's very easy to walk there and to other attractions. Having a restaurant on hand was wonderful. The lobby and first floor has a bunch of cozy rooms you can go and read in or just relax and get warm. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely, quiet location by the harbour. I very much enjoyed my stay, just one note to fellow travellers - I booked a balcony room which was depicted as having a harbour view. Half of the balcony rooms face inland to the city, and so the view is not as inspiring. Would have preferred the option to book a harbour view.

Hotel is near to but not too close to downtown, walking in snowy conditions can be difficult. It feels like in a far side corner of the main city centre, entrance is odd and breakfast is very basic.
