Property is kept in excellent condition. They are very particular and clear about cleaning responsibilities of their guests. The result is a well kept property. I could not figure out how to control the heat in our cabin so we just opened windows. We enjoyed our stay and would go there again.

This was a real treat and was like a mini vacation within our vacation. The location (quiet solitude, views, surrounded by the horses), all the comforts of home (to sit on a real couch again even lol) and being able to make our own meals and enjoy a private evening in the hot tub were just what I needed.

Unfortunately, we never received the check-in information regarding the cabin. We’re staying in ahead of time, but we figured it out on our own when I try to contact the owner. Their information wasn’t on the Expedia website cabinet was clean but needs some updating, but this area is very beautiful. Some of the cabins look like they’ve been updated so I’m hoping they get to the one that we stayed in as well. You eventually did reach out to me check out, but it would’ve been helpful to get the check-in information ahead of time.

The setting and view shed from the property was awesome. Location close to town, but blissfully quiet, was superb.

A must stay! This place was by far the best overnight stay we had in Iceland!

Nice and comfortable cottage with full function included kitchenware and hot tub jacuzzi, located in beautiful area , quiet. But a lot snow on March that need skill driving.

It was a cute cabin

Sconsigliatissimo a meno di non farsi specificare prima i costi “aggiuntivi” non specificati quando si prenota. Biancheria da bagno e da letto a pagamento. Contattata la struttura mi fu detto che il costo era di circa 60 euro per una notte. Entrato nell’alloggio cera in bella evidenza un bel vademecum con tutte le pulizie che si sarebbero dovute fare: spolverare mobili, lavare i vetri, pulire sotto il letto ed il divano, passare aspirapolvere e poi lavare pavimenti; in sostanza le “pulizie di primavera” per essere stato lì solo per dormire. Ovviamente vi era la possibilità di richiedere le pulizie a pagamento. Sconcertante però che, avendo richiesto la fattura per il costo di 60 euro per le lenzuola e asciugamani (che Expedia si è subito dimostrata disponibile a rimborsare), la fattura riportasse 25 euro per biancheria e 35 per le pulizie. Quindi prima che io lasciassi l’alloggio e senza sapere se avrei pulito o meno mi avevano già addebitato il costo della pulizia. Da notare che tra le cose da fare c’era anche “pulire i vetri” che facevano schifo in realtà. Ineccepibile invece il comportamento di Expedia che come detto si è resa subito disponibile a rimborsare i costi non specificati al momento della prenotazione

If you want to "enjoy" very loud karaoke singing of extremly drunk icelanders entire night - it is the place for you; the owners of the place don't care at all, once you paid - it is your problem if you cannot sleep (they don't pick up, they don't reply texts/mails) and when you meet them - they just say that they cannot do anything. I had to book another hotel to be able to sleep while still officially staying here. Beside that house condition was rather poor (clearly requires repairs) and dirty - owners don't clean it, it is up to guests to take care of it. Overall extremly dissapointing and overpriced place.
