The only good thing about this hotel is its location. It’s perfectly situated close to all the major landmarks in the city, making sightseeing very convenient. However, the biggest issue is transportation. No vehicles are allowed in the area, so you have to walk at least 700–800 meters with your luggage. This was especially difficult in the extreme heat (44°C) and with a child. It was a very uncomfortable and exhausting experience. The room itself was extremely small—comparable to a matchbox. While the hotel does have an in-house restaurant, the food was just okay, nothing special. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for comfort or ease of access. It might suit solo travelers who are okay with walking and don’t mind compact rooms, but for families or anyone with mobility concerns, this place is not ideal.

Hotel muito bem localizado, próximo ao principal Ghat de Varanasi. Enviei mensagem ao hotel para providenciar transfer da estação de trem, porém não houve resposta. Entretanto, o atendimento presencial não deixou a desejar. Providenciaram meu transfer ao aeroporto por um bom preço

I felt like in a prison in the room. I know that is the Varanasi ghats but I’d hoped to find any better. No it’s hotel fault mostly is what you can expect from Varanasi ghats lounge

Booking was supposed to include breakfast; however, the owner charged us 450. Went on 2nd morning for breakfast because we had a walking tour booked but the owner is the only staff who can speak English and he was sleeping in the lobby. Cook refused to look at photos on my phone of what we wanted to eat. Noise level was INSANE. Got perhaps 4 hours of sleep each night. Checked out of hotel one day early without breakfast again because we needed to get some sleep before traveling to our next city, waited for room inspection, was told to pay money. Paid. Got a phone call from the owner asking me to return to the property because he forgot to charge me for the laundry service I used!!!!

Very conveniently located near the ghats. A bit of noise at night with occasional dog(s) barking. I arrived near the festival of Shiva so it may have been busier at night than normal. Friendly staff.

My experience with the MRK was really great, im a Solo traveler from Denmark, stayed 2 nights! Here are some tips for reaching the hotel: you will not be 100% able to take a taxi or so to the front door! You will be dropped of about 8-900 meters from the hotel! Use Google maps to get to the Hotel, once in the area, just ask at shops, and they will show you the small entrance. But beleive me, you will love that the traffic are less at the location! Checkin was easy, ALL the staff are very nice and helpfull. Rooms are like they are in India for the price, Wifi are working, but don’t expect to stream 4k Videos! The location for the Ghats can not be more easy! 60 meters walk, and you are at the stairs to th Ghat’s and evening Ceremony! I enjoyed all my meals there! Open kitchen, great meny, lovely omelette for breakfast! The owner are a really nice guy, him and his staff really wants people to have a great stay! My best recommendations!!!

Excellent location for all things Varanasi. Kind and helpful staff and property managers. This is a hotel on the ghats that is affordable. So expect rudimentary facilities.

The location was the best. Owners were also quite helpful and welcoming. Food at the hotel ( made by owner aunty ) was also quite tasty. everything is very near to this hotel ( in walking distance)

Basic hotel but clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Great location for ghats. The food in the restaurant was very good.

The people are VERY nice and professional. PLACE is very clean and they have great food. NEXT TO GANGES RIVER which is a good thing. Close to all shopping and restaurants and ATM machines.

Ok, remember, this is India. Everywhere could use a fresh coat of paint and a little maintenance. That being said, this hotel was the very best located in Varanasi. You are thirty feet from the greatest action in the city. The staff is delightful and friendly and super helpful. The restaurant served the best food we found during our visit. Unless you’re looking for a five star hotel experience, this is the best place we found in Varanasi.

The best thing about this hotel was location, you literally are 3 minutes walk to the main Ghat, however the hotel is very basic, they couldn't even supply a heater, I was there during the cold season. Getting hot water you would have to tell the front staff to switch on the geyser and then wait 10-15 mins for the hot water. No toilet roll provide and when asked, I was handed one which only had a little left, was told they would get me a roll next day. Next day nothing, so asked again and again given a roll which hardly had any paper left and again told they would give me a full roll later. I never did get a full roll and had to go and buy my own! If you want to be right where the evening Aarti occurs then the location is perfect, however I would only stay for 1 night due to the basic level of the room and service.

A great location, great staff, great restaurant. After staying at another hotel in Varanasi, sweating all night and sharing a bathroom this hotel was just what we needed. Clean, affordable and best location.
