The interior courtyard was small and a bit confining. The rooftop could have been a nice place to get some breathing room but never seemed to be open with all of the furniture covered every time I went up. You are in an area that it is not so clean if you want to go outside so having a little sanctuary area on the roof would have been nice. Breakfast was a broad menu and the food was good. I was here for work so I didn’t get to try the other restaurant. Bathroom faucet was very loose from the basin but overall the bathroom/shower was as nice. A/C in the room worked really well which was great in 110 degree weather. They should really keep up the street outside the hotel. It was really polluted and it would not take much to actually pick up the trash and rubble on the streets outside of the havelli as well.

Simply one of the best stays I’ve experienced. Not just in India but in any country. If you like boutique hotels this is the boutiquey est. can’t recommend it enough.

Very traditional stay

Staying at the Padmaa Hotel in Jaipur felt like stepping into a beautifully preserved haveli, where traditional charm meets warm hospitality. The intricate architecture reflects Rajasthan’s rich heritage, while the fantastic food, evening Indian folk music, and the hotel’s charming tuk tuk service for pickups and drop-offs made the experience both authentic and effortlessly enjoyable.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Everyone was so warm and friendly and thoughtful. The hotel is beautiful, with amazing facilities and lots of lounge space to relax. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the bar serves tasty cocktails. A perfect location, nearby lots of markets and the sights of the pink city. I can't wait to come back!

Fantastic location in the heart of the walled city with easy walkable access to most of the local attractions. It was an oasis hidden away in the mad rush of an old city - the hotel tuk tuk was always ready to pick you up and drop you off from the narrow street confines of the haveli to the buzzing bazaars of Jaipur. You walk in and to your absolute delight, you are transported to centuries old traditions and atmosphere of a central courtyard surrounded by living quarters. The 15-room property has impeccable accommodations with luxuries of Kama products and fine bedding. The food was top notch - a vegetarians paradise with multiple options to choose from. Would def recommend the Rajasthani thali if you are ready to explore the traditional food! The mukhwaas drink prepared by the bartender was amazing and so was the live music played by Sharukh and Ishaan. Being a classical music aficionado myself, I was able to connect to the artists and the music instantly. If the weather wasn’t playing hide and seek, I would have definitely spent more time on the luxurious rooftop where you can order drinks from the bar as well as get food sent up from the kitchen. The Chandani area was a cute surprise to explore the moonlight. Finally, the staff went over and beyond - they displayed first class hospitality. I was traveling with my elderly dad and they were highly accommodative with an early check in and a late check out to give him time to relax and recuperate.

The hotel was fantastic! The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and accommodating—it truly might have been the best service I’ve ever received. The food was great, both at breakfast and dinner. The interiors were gorgeous and the bathroom was modern. I don’t see myself stay anywhere else in Jaipur ever again!

This is a lovely hotel with a great rooftop bar and restaurant on the ground floor. The food offering could be better with attention paid to details (eg local jams etc at breakfast not generic plastic packets). All the staff are lovely though the front desk were slow and we had some problems with miscommunication over booked transport but they sorted it in the end!

Beautiful place and

Padmaa is a very lovely hotel. The staff are very nice, Monika the manager is extremely professional and helpful, and the hotel itself is lovely. A charming haveli which has been sensitively restored, it is in one of the bazaars of the old city, so close to everything, but also not noisy at night. The food was good, and the rooms all very spacious. Thanks!

Exceptionally beautiful hotel with great facilities, very courteous staff and excellent dinining options. Prime location in Jaipur. Miles better than staying at large chain hotels.

I do love a good Haveli . Having said that the rooms were basic and run down. Challenging to sleep due to poor soundproofing of the space. WiFi’ was an issue at times. Staff was great. Food was mediocre verging on bad. Would rate overall as a 3 star stay. Very expensive for the experience.

The hotel is very beautiful and charming, the rooms are very large, clean, and luxurious, but the lack of soundproofing and the incessant, particularly loud noise from the surrounding streets at all hours of the day and night make sleep unpredictable, sporadic, and mostly impossible (even between 2 and 6 a.m. you'll hear scooter & rickshaw horns). Breakfast is not at all commensurate with the prices charged, and a continental breakfast is not available. Hotel Location: 7/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 Amenities: 7/10 Sleep: 2/10 Breakfast: 2/10 Furthermore, the hotel, located in a maze of narrow streets, is not accessible by car. The hotel will send a rickshaw in only a few minutes, 24/7, to pick you up and take you to the nearest main street, but this requires prior notice when arriving, and isn't practical with children or a lot of luggage. The staff are incredibly kind and professional in all circumstances. Staff: 11 (yes, eleven)/10 In short, a perfect place for a break with tea during the day, or for Instagram-worthy photos, but unfortunately not for sleeping.

The hotel is a beautifully restored haveli. The rooms are quite large. The staff are very attentive and kind. They have a wonderful rooftop space that we enjoyed on several nights. Every night had live ghazal music. The food is some of the best we have had in Jaipur. The lighting in the two dining rooms was quite bright but was dimmed to an appropriate level upon request. Highly recommended.
