Behaviour was not good

The owners attitude was appalling.Lack of communication before arrival. room very basic and dirty had ants and cockroaches Tv didnt work .Swimming pool was ok.although none of the fountains worked.The only thing that we really liked was the staff at the restaurant which wasnt run by the hotel its self The boys were lovely and friendly and great food.The owner seemed disinterested and was grumpy.

Frindly family run hotel perfect location for the beach. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Onsite restaurant run by a Debar lovely guy and very accomodating. Patenom is not as busy as its neighbouring resort Palolem beach, which is only a 5 minute taxi ride away with its many restaurants if you fancy something different of an evening . All in all a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel

Our stay was ruined by the rude and agressive management. The pool was dirty (opaque) and unusable. The room was misdiscribed as deluxe when the rooms are only standard rooms. Edmond (manager?) admitted the descrition was wrong its the room pictures that are correct. We asked to pay for a room upgrade on which they became agressive and implemented rules that were not stated in the t&cs. They also tried to charge us the full rate for the room for a night not the difference between the price of the rooms. The management have no respect for their guest and are devoid of any customer service skills, they are quite happy to argue agressively with guests and infront of other customers in their resturant. It could be a nice place if they, respected their guest and improved customer service, improved their skills on pool and room cleanliness and told the truth in their advertisement. The hotel does not have a private beach and the name "Sea View" is misnomer.

The manager was vile, rude and arrogant. We looked at the pictures on the web and purchased an “Executive Suit”. When we were shown to our room it was at the back of the hotel overlooking a wasteland/tip. We went back to reception and asked for another rom ay front of hotel. The manager said “you have got the room you paid for if you don’t like it go back to ebookers. If you want better room you pay me more” I explained that the room we had paid for was the most expensive, he just said again “ you pay more or go somewhere else” The toilet did not work for 5 days and my wife was unable to open the room door for 6 days as it had dropped on the hinges. Our room was not cleaned for 4 days.

Lovely Hotel the staff are very helpful , great value for money , restaurant also good for evening meals ,

Rent, modernt, stort och färgstarkt rum mot bakgården, inte så fint, men tyst och skönt. Hotellet ligger precis vid väg, men det stör inte nämnvärt om man har rum mot bakgården. Seawiew (f.ö) missvisande namn, när det inte finns någon sjöutsikt, har potential att bli ett riktigt bra ställe. Men man måste börja tänka på de små detaljerna. Det fanns vattenkokare, flaskvatten, tekoppar...men inte en tepåse eller instant kaffe. Man hade bara en rulle igång på toan, man måste därför tänka efter så pappret räckte till nästa städning. När tvål tog slut, fyllde man inte på nya. Hotellet har också ett litet men vackert poolområde. Det trista är att man verkar inte vilja ha gästerna där. Det är skyltar om förbud kring mycket, inget äta och dricka, ingen solkräm, inga skor...osv. Även solstolar var fastkedjade, inte så inbjudande, i en övrigt vacker miljö. Vi hade också checkat ut efter fem nätter, men var kvar på stranden ett par timmar innan tåget skulle gå. Våra väskor fick stå kvar, men vi fick inte låna kallvattenduchen vid poolen för att spola av oss snabbt. En ocharmig anställd meddelade bara att vi checkat ut. Så vår upplevelse var att det finns möjligheter att bli ett bra hotell, men man måste tänka mer att det är gästen som gör hotellet och framgången. Vi rekommenderar hotellet inte helt utan kritik.

We arrived at the hotel and was very pleased at first sight but was very very pleased when in the morning we had a chance to look around it was great we stayed in the executive room overlooking the pool we found the staff very pleasant especially our room cleaner thank you, .We would like to stay there again sometime The bar and eating area could do with having a makeover we found that it was not appealing to us so come on The Seaveiw Hotel get this sorted and get more people to eat and be comfortable in this area .

really great area, room, pool, restaurants but really a minus that some people working there is yelling to family members and guests.

The room we booked was squalid, so we had no choice but to move to a very expensive alternative. Most of the people we spoke to had the same experience. Basically it was a con. You should not be promoting this place.Staff were uncooperative and unhelpful and sometimes rude

Ich würde das Sew View Resort nicht nochmals buchen, für dieses Geld bekommt man in Indien besseres. Das Zimmer war sauber, jedoch hatte es einen sehr muffigen Geruch, der nach ca. 1 Woche etwas besser wurde. Das Swimming-Pool war in den ersten 3 Tagen nicht in Betrieb, braunes Wasser, erst danach wurde mächtig Chlor reingegeben und die Pumpen in Betrieb gesetzt... Der Chef des Hotels vermittelte eher den Eindruck, dass ihm alles zu hart ist. Man bekam zwar alles, aber freundlich ist was anderes. Auch die Mitarbeiter des Restaurants waren nicht sonderlich freundlich...

Despite booking back in September 2016 - manager would not accept it and asked for a lot more money. This was done to other people as well who were left with nowhere to stay in middle of night.

The service is terrible. After waiting 45 min, they cancelled my booking. I had paid for three nights through hotels.com, but they claimed that it wasn't enough and turned me out. I haven't got any refund. The staff were rude, unfriendly - so whatever you do, book somewhere else, lots of nicer places that are cheaper and closer to the beach.

Convenient location 5 min walk to the beach and across from a wonderful restaurant, room fairly spacious and very clean for India standards though bedding and towels were greyish in colour and old. The bed is quite hard. No WiFi in the rooms. The service was OK.

To arrive after a long journey and have to then wait 2 hours to be given your room was tiresome..staff friendly enough but the room was in need of an update..some nice curtains would help.

I am a solo male Canadian backpacker who was on a two month trip around India and Sri Lanka. This was a last minute internet find at the very end of the high season. I went to Goa because it was the end point of a train trip I wanted to take and because after the heat of Rajasthan and Gujarat I just wanted to jump in the warm sea. The manager was kind enough to come and pick me up at the Magdaon railway station at night - no small feat! At the end of the stay he also drove me to the Goa International Airport very early in the morning. The resort is a group of low rise residential buildings surrounded by greenery like coconut trees and with gated security. The room was relatively clean. Its electricity cut out quite frequently. Although it's only about five hundred meters from the beach, it was sort of a drag to have to walk there for each meal because the resort did not really provide meals in the low season. The beach restaurants were fun, inexpensive and with good food. The manager helped me with going to see Galigbag or Turtle Beach some eight kilometers away. There was decent laundry service. This was my first time using Expedia to book and I didn't remember whether I had paid for everything online with the result that I paid online for the basic rate and then paid the manager in cash for what was supposed to be extras like air conditioning and driving. Lesson learned: keep note of transactions when there's a middle person like Expedia.

Ett enkelt boende där vårt rum låg så det blev relativt lugnt och tyst. Rummets skick är av enklare standard men ett OK! boende.

We wanted a nice, quiet place located close to Palolem beach that would fit our budget. Seaview Resort fit that bill perfectly. You may not be able to walk right to Palolem from here, but Patnem beach is connected to the resort and is quite a pretty sight as well. And our host Edmond rented us one of his bikes which made life really easy for us! The hotel is pretty, the rooms clean and comfortable and amongst the cleanest you will find. The location is the right mix of quiet, and well-connected. An ATM, and a market (Chowdi) are at a short distance from the hotel and the area is well lit and safe even in the late hours of the night. Palolem beach is a delight for foodies, and if you want some real quiet time, try Agonda beach which is about an hour's ride from the hotel!
