We had quite a few issues with our stay 1. Rooms were clean but there was mild smell coming either from AC or carpets I believe it was carpets. I complained couple of times but they ignored it. 2. We arrived the night before our Darshan and dined in one of their restraints. The food after an hour we ordered they were trying to apologize and compensate us with extra food but by then we were tired, mad and lost our appetite to eat. I hope it doesn’t happen that often for a five start restarting 3.Room service was not replenishing towels until you ask them . Other than that the look and feel of hotel is really good. They well come in with Pooja and address you politely. I just expected a treatment of TAj standard

Liked the staff and cleanliness. Seems like the owner of the property is miser. Provides just one towel in the room. Have to ask for two. Provides just one water bottle. Have to ask for 2-3. When requested for water bottle, the service guy says give me empty bottle. All this does not go with the TAJ brand name.

Not well managed, noisy rooms, frequent power interruptions, overpriced, low quality food. Front desk is inefficient & unprofessional. It’s a rip-off.

The property needs to be upgraded. The carpet and the rooms need to be renovated. The staff is friendly and dining is average not as expected the quality as Taj group.

This hotel is a fascinating blend of two extremes — some of the most pleasant and genuinely motivated staff you’ll ever meet… working side by side with folks who seem like they’re just here to get-by their day with minimum effort. Let’s start with the rooms. Congested would be an understatement — definitely not what you'd expect from a Taj. I had booked two rooms, hoping they'd at least be close to each other. But nope — one was tucked away in some distant corner and the other plopped right in the middle of the floor, like a game of Taj hide-and-seek. I asked if they could move us when possible. But this Taj apparently subscribes to the “you’ll follow up or you’ll give up” customer service model. We finally got interconnecting rooms… at 11pm. Because who doesn’t love late-night room shuffling? Then came our culinary adventure at Varuna restaurant. The moment we sat down, we were greeted with, “Everything takes 30 minutes.” No follow-ups — just a heads-up that you’ll be hungry a bit longer. I even asked if they were understaffed, but by then we were already practicing intermittent fasting, so we let it slide. Honestly, if you're looking for a one-night stay and have zero expectations — this might just be your place.

Surrounding properties are an eye sore

Great facility, and friendly staff. Pls check to make sure the room and sheets have been cleaned from the previous stay. I checked in to a room where the trash can was not emptied and the comforter sheet felt slept it and not fresh. I am okay to conserve and be eco friendly and not change sheets or trash cans if I am staying multiple days but not when I check in. House keeping head apologized and it seemed a genuine oversight but was an unexpected experience from a Taj brand.

Excellent stay for Tirupathi Darshan. Good was excellent and staff all were very warm and welcoming. Thank you to Rosemary for being so kind and serving us well.
