I recently had the pleasure of spending three nights at the Taj West End. It is a splendid heritage hotel set in quiet beautiful gardens. It is well located in the centre of Bengalaru. The rooms are very well appointed, and the staff are excellent. I particularly enjoyed the afternoon and evening refreshments provided in the Taj Club Lounge. I booked airport transfers through the hotel and was very impressed and grateful for the Concierge service that is provided at the Airport.

Spectacular stay at Taj West End hotel for honeymoon. Best hotel stay ever! Food was spectacular and service was on point. Staff was very gracious and helpful. Beautiful property. Well maintained and facilities are first class. Room servicing staff in particular Santhosh was very kind and helpful. He also offered to take photographs of us on the property. Restaurant breakfast was exceptional. Service was anticipatory and delivered well. Food delicious and great variety.

This was a very nice stay. The facilities are beautiful, the restaurants are excellent, service was outstanding. We arrived at BLR at 2:30 AM. The hotel car I requested was not confirmed, so it was not there, but there were other Taj West End drivers at the airport and the quickly arranged another car for us. It was about an hour ride from BLR to the hotel. With customs, baggage claim, car pick up, travel, and registration, we were in bed around 5:00 AM. We were exhibiting at the BIEC. Ubers to and from the conference center took between 1 and 2.5 hours. There was no problem arranging for pickup at the hotel, but it was a PIA at the conference center. Our departing flight was at 4:00 AM and we arranged for a hotel car the day before with no issues. In the future, I would inquire about the possibility of local transportation from a hotel car. There was a storm during the evening and it knocked the AC out. Because of the storm, it was not too hot, but I notified the front desk in the morning and the AC was working when I returned in the evening. We ate dinner at all three restaurants and found all of them to be excellent. We also opted for breakfast, which was very good.

Stay was Excellent, Room was Great, food was Awesome. Only Attention needed is in Maintenance (No power in plug points & Shower door not working). Since it’s heritage property, maintenance must be seen closely.

A historical building with a large garden located in the city center — perfect for a relaxing morning or evening walk. Blue Ginger at the Taj West End is an excellent restaurant, offering delicious food in a uniquely charming setting. However, the room cleanliness was below expectations for a hotel of this standard, as I found hair in the bathroom upon check-in.

With the notable exception of Mohamed the concierge and a handful of other staff members whose names I do not have, I was treated with a range of prurient curiosity to obvious disdain. It was clear I wasn’t welcome which is very surprising in a luxury property. The ladies at the check-in desks were notably either too junior to help or downright agressive and rude. What a shame as the grounds, food and spa services are excellent and live up to the property’s reputation.

I’ve stayed at the Taj West End twice now, both times the service has been wonderful. The staff are very friendly and happy to assist with any request. The property is beautiful and has multiple dining and bar options. Special thank you to the bar staff at Blue Bar who provided interesting insight into how they make their drinks! Overall would highly recommend.
