Beautiful place with fantastic, courteous service from all staff. The view of the fort from the rooftop restaurant is stunning and we were able to walk there easily in 20 minutes. Our room was huge and the bed was so comfortable.

Amazing property best service and helpful staff

Service was excellent. We arrived early and they provided us clean room right away. All hotel staff was cordial and eager to extend services to comfort their guests feel at home. Road construction outside hotel makes it a bit inconvenient for some guests to reach Main Street but it appears to be completed in couple of weeks. Hotel top restaurant and view of Jaisalmer Palace together with dining gives an awesome and enjoying experience. An overall memorable experience!

This hotel surpassed all our expectations. The images and all the reviews could not prepare us for what we experienced. The staff was outstanding. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and be gracious in all their interactions with us. The hotel facilities were exceptional. The hotel exterior, the courtyards, rooftop dining room, and pool were beautifully appointed. Our suite was luxurious and had every amenity we could need and as much space as we could ask for. I highly recommend this hotel.

Le personnel est chaleureuxet efficace.Nous avons ètè surclassès et Babou nous a organisè des delicieux repas sans èpices.Il nous a aussi organisé un taxi jusqu à Jodpur.Une fois arrivés àJodpur il a telephone pour avoir si tout s etait bien passè.Nous avons fait le dèsert safari proposè par l hotel.Très bien.Nous etions les seuls sur la dune.La piscine est propre et agreable. Un sejour parfait dans une grande suite au calme.Tres belle vue sur le fort depuis la terrasse du restaurant.

Lovely hotel built in the traditional style with a fantastic rooftop restaurant and terrace overlooking the fort. Staff were kind, friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. The laundry service was excellent and quick. Bonus was a nice, well maintained swimming pool set in a small garden. Would definitely recommend this hotel .

Excellent property in Jaisalmer. We got free upgrade to next level, staff was friendly and food was made to order but test was very good. From terrace restaurant, you can have grand view of the fort.

Approach road improvements are a must, otherwise a very homely and relaxing place.

Wow, I have never experienced such fantastic and hospitable customer service. The staff members were so kind to us and made our stay! The food at the hotel restaurant was some of the best food in India. You need to stay here if you're in India!

Amazing property service food cleanliness and attention to details

Only good things to say about both the property and our stay. Even though we had never visited Jaisalmer, we immediately felt at home once we set foot in The Gulaal. Virendra Singh and Babu took good care of us - arranged transport, made recommendations, answered all of our questions, and also had good stories to tell. We ate many meals at the property and were pleasantly surprised by how tasty and reasonably priced the all-veg menu was. Our room was spacious, clean and had the most comfortable mattress I have ever encountered in India. We have already recommended to all our family in India and would recommend to anyone looking to visit Jaisalmer.

The Gulaal is arguably one of the best properties in Jaisalmer. Its proximity to the fort, architecture confirming to the ones you find inside the fort, the decor and warmth of hospitality extended by the staff makes is a must stay place. We stayed at the Luxury suite and while the luxury was true to its name, it did not burn a hole in our pocket. You enter the place in the evening and it is filled with mild aroma of dhoop giving you a feeling of an actual haveli. Our room was as spacious as one could imagine. A living room with window balcony, lovely bedroom, a huge bathroom. The best part was a huge separate terrace where you can enjoy a clear view of the fort while sipping your evening tea. The bedroom window gives you a clear shot of the fort and it looks surreal at night, something right out of story books. I can't even begin to describe the rooftop dining. You can enjoy your favorite meal with the view of the the fort which has a different aura around it at night. To top it all and the best feature of the place is, its staff. Warm, courteous and always willing to make your stay memorable. Without any doubt, the next time we go there, we are staying at the same place.

It a good 3 star property with huge rooms and great service. Calling it a luxury boutique is bit of a stretch. Again good views and huge rooms.
