The property itself is very unique, very peaceful and the staff very helpful

We did not have an amazing experience at Tamara Coorg. We initially felt that the front staff were extremely disengaging, slightly defensive on some of the feedback we were providing them. 1)food was deplorable. We come from a place of having been to other 5 or 7 star places in India and globally. 2) bathroom cleanliness, stains not up to par with 5 star standards. Our customer service point of contact Raziq made it better with constant engagement and trying to fix everything for us. 3) food quality, taste, cooking, variety everything can be improved by a lot. Out strong feedback would be visiting other places such as ITC, Taj and Evolve to learn from the experts. Their only saving grace comes from amazing human beings such as Raziq, Gowshik who had a listening ear to our concerns. They seemed very genuine and wanted to take it up with management to make sure they make the changes for future guests.

Pretty good property quiet and close to nature

Quiet, scenic and green. Friendly staff. Good food. Nothing much to do around but relax and unwind.

The Tamara is a pearl nested in the Western Ghats. The experience from the beginning till the end was magical. This breathtakingly beautiful property is complemented by immaculate service that had a personal touch to everything. Special thanks to Manjunath and Amandeep at the Deck for their hospitality and friendliness. The stay was made more special by Raku Singh - the housekeeping staff who had left us a note with towel art. Thanks to Harshitha who was a pro at the buggy. All in all, a must-do for anybody looking to unwind in tranquility.

Beautiful property among live coffee plantations. It was literally living in nature.

This property has a unique advantage of the location. If you want to experience luxury living right next to reserved forest, this the place for you. The room and bathroom were spacious enough and were clean. The view from balcony will depend on your cottage location. The food was freshly prepared, but taste & variety can be improved. A complimentary evening tea/coffee was missing. No complimentary cookies/fruit in room. At least that much is expected in a luxury resort. The service and hospitality was good, but, can be better.

Beautiful property set amidst the quieter part of Coorg. The cottages are luxurious and overlook vast green swathes of trees and hills of the Western Ghats. Every nook and corner of the property is beautifully done up with exotic flowers, plants and coffee plantations. Will come back here again for sure. Three night were not enough!

One of the best and most unique luxury properties you can find in India. Breath-taking views, immaculately maintained surroundings and top notch hospitality. A trip of a lifetime - and it couldn't get any better. Will come here again!

Nice rooms with a view. Clean, well maintained, great staff. Peaceful well spaced cabins. Cons: candle light dinner was a rip off. For INR 3500 you get a poolside buffet with just OK food. You sit in the dark among many other tables. 0/10 for ambience and 6/10 for the food.

From beginning to end, Our stay at The Tamara Coorg was fantastic. We stayed two nights over the weekend and it was just enough, although I’d suggest three nights. Definitely take advantage of the included activities, especially the trek and plantation walk, both were incredible. The food was great, with good variety, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. You can opt for a candlelit dinner with your significant other, absolutely worth it! Is a beautifully romantic property with privacy and fantastic ambiance. I would have no reservations booking another weekend, or maybe longer.

The whole property is built so beautifully away from the noise of the city in such a serene environment ! It’s so pleasing to the eye as well as the ear! You just hear chirping of birds , sounds of the waterfall and the silence of the night!

Awesome place nestled in the Western Ghats and Sahyadri hill range with breathtaking views of the mountain range and valley!!! A perfect tranquill lush green place to rest and relax away from city life.The cottage rooms are very spacious, spik and span, very well designed, cozy beds, good furniture and fixtures - all this makes the stay a total pleasant experience!!. The restaurant has a great ambience, food is excellent with a wide variety of dishes. The staffs are very polite and caring, extremely courteous. The buggy ride in the resort is fun so also the bird watching session and the plantation tour.We had an amazing and mesmerising holiday in the lap of nature, strongly recommend this resort.
