The hotel staff were very nice, friendly and warm. The hotel's gardens were also beautiful, but unfortunately, our villa was very old, dirty and untidy. The room was full of a mouldy smell, so bad that I couldn't breathe. So we informed the hotel, explained the situation, and requested a room change. They moved us to the next villa, 928 from 929, which was all the same. So, we didn't have any other option but to stay there for ten days. The furniture was very narrow and of very old quality. The kitchen sink was so dirty and old that even looking at it would make someone vomit, and dirty water was rising from the pipeline below on its own. And the two bathrooms were very dirty and of poor quality. Every tap and shower head was rusty, and every corner of the bathroom had years of garbage and dirt. I felt very uncomfortable taking a shower in this bathroom every day. We stayed in this villa for a total of ten days, but the hotel housekeeping did not change any bed sheets, clean towels or bathroom mats once during these ten days. The hotel authorities fail to provide any comfort or luxury here for such a high price. Such a waste of our money. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I have all the images available if you want to see them. You will feel very disgusted. The portal should include an image upload option to showcase and explain the experience.

Not enough dinning or bar options

Helt ok hotell i Seminyak, med god beliggenhet. Selve rommet var stort, komfortabelt og ganske rent. Men badet bar preg av å ha blitt dårlig vasket over lang tid. Det var belegg i vasken og mye kalk i dusjen. I oppgangen inn til rommene var det også veldig dårlig rengjort. Fugler hadde bygget reder oppunder taket, så det var fuglemøkk i trappen. Generelt er fellesområdene ganske dårlig vedlikeholdt. Bassenget var ok, treningsrommet er veldig mangelfullt. Det er helt grei verdi for pengene, men om du bestiller rom i «deluxe wing», så senk forventningene. Det er ikke spesielt deluxe. Men helt fint for ettpar netter. Vi kunne fint bodd her igjen om vi ønsket et hotell i denne prisklassen.

Boede på The Taman Ayu 2 nætter. Hotellet er meget nedslidt.

Very nice stay although we never got the room we booked, they did give us a family room which was big bedroom upstairs, but no tv in lounge area downstairs,so it was a bit much up and down the stairs being pensioners. So they gave us a standard room a lot smaller than the one we booked, However it was a nice stay good location and nice grounds bit dated but clean.

excellent location for bars and restaurants… club. pool is nice . hopefully they can upgrade their rooms and bathrooms wifi in and out a lot

The hotel was very “chill” with many long term guests. The room/bed was excellent but washrooms needed to be gutted and renovated. But great for the money!

Veldig hyggelig betjening på hotellet. Det som trekker ned er desverre sviktende / mangelfull renhold. Dette trekker såpass ned at hele opplevelsen var veldig negativ. Balkongområdet var full av gamle sigarett stumper etter tidligere gjester. Toalettet var ikke rengjort, det var feks stivnet tannkrem på doringen samt at klosettet var svært skittent. Dette var det første vi gjorde da vi ankom rommet. Dusjen var svært skitten og uhygienisk. Vi fikk ikke utdelt håndhåndkle, kun hvert vårt strandhåndkle. Det ene luktet rett og slett urin og ble levert tilbake til resepsjonen som beklagde seg. Hyggelig personale, men renholdet var såpass skuffende at dette vil vi rett og slett fraråde å bo på.

Nice pool, quiet, and good location

Bathroom need cover for shower…

Rigtig fin beliggenhed, tæt på strand og restauranter. Dejlig pool. Hav stor tålmodighed hvis du bestiller morgenmad, det kan godt tage en times tid! Stille og roligt om dagen, men meget larm fra gaden og de omkringliggende barer om aftenen og natten. Velegnet til unge mennesker.

This is a great budget property in the heart of Seminyak Bali. Sure you could stay at the W for $600 but here a room is $30 and you will only use it to sleep. Great staff and lush grounds. So if your looking for a good value this is it.

Great location, friendly staff. It’s a little tired and WiFi no good in my room, but will stay here again due to location staff and price. The cafe is also fabulous outside of the hotel. Great food wine and WiFi.

Location was good, bit run down, shower was dreadful, would go hot and cold every 3 seconds which made it very hard to have a shower. Did not clean toilet for days. Pool bar was not operational which was advertised. And one of reasons i stayed. Will not stay again..

Taman Ayu was very nice, we stayed in the Super Deluxe Room which was the newer part. We also stayed one night in the Garden Deluxe Room and liked that more than the Super Deluxe room. The pool area is nice but could do with large size pool towels instead of the old room towels. Around the hotel there are plenty of eating places and massage places which are good and cheap. It was a little far to walk to Seminyak Square so a Rp 100,000 taxi ride was needed. The staff were friendly and always obliging. All in all our stay was okay.

Väldigt slitet hotel med

Amazing hotel for such a great price. A bunch of convince stores & great restaurants within walking distance. Staff were great.

Great cheap stay, quiet despite the location, but ask for a room at the back and take some earplugs anyway. Very clean, but just dated. Pool was lovely salt water and nice and quiet. Only complaint, mix up with pool bar bill. make sure you just sign the receipts and pay at the end. I paid cash for one round of drinks and the cash went missing and someone else's signature on the receipt. I left the hotel feeling a bit crap, as they chased down all the staff and the manager and still didn't believe me and tried to make me feel guilty by saying they will get to the bottom of it and sack the staff member.
