Nice quiet room for Galway traveling

Perfect location in Galway. The rooms are perfect if you’re travelling and just need a place to rest. The connected restaurant has a great breakfast and parking was a breeze.

Excellent accueil, très bon hébergement rien à redire

One of our two non-smoking rooms smelled strongly of tobacco (cigarettes or even cigars). At first, the manager didn’t want to come and see for himself and sent a friendly member of staff instead. He eventually came later (after the staff member had sprayed an air freshener and aired the room) and said he couldn’t smell anything, which was completely untrue ! What’s more, as the rooms overlook the terrace of the pub-restaurant, the noise was very loud. And even more so when the staff cleared the tables at 1.30 am and put the chairs back in place at 6.30 am !!! To be avoided at all costs!

Lovely Boutique Hotel in the heart of Oranmore Village.

Everything was excellent. The location was great.

The staff was really kind and helpful, and the room was nice and much larger than I'd expected.

Staff were great. Room was small yet nice and quiet. Walkable area and good options for dining.

Staff were very accommodating, wonderful location. We enjoyed our time.

We booked 2 of the same rooms. One was very large and the other was tiny. When we noticed the difference, we brought it up and were told they were sold out. The large room bathroom was ridiculous. We used the shower and the water poured out and flooded the bathroom. We used our towels and needed more but the front desk was closed. This was at 9 pm. The bathroom had mold and the toilet seat kept slipping off. I don’t know how this hotel has an 8.8 rating. Tried to take a shower the next day and tried everything to keep the water in the shower but there is no way to contain it.

The hotel was fine for the price. The Italian restaurant that was attached was great. The only issues were very little parking and hard to get in and out of because of traffic.

Friendly staff. Well located in the center. Parking is too small for the hotel. Furnitures need renovation. Room was not fully clean, some hair on the floor.

My wife and I stayed at this property for one night during our trip around Ireland. The room was small, with two separate beds and a compact bathroom, but it provided everything we needed. The heating worked well, which was a welcome detail considering the weather on the day of our arrival. The reception staff were friendly, and the private parking within the hotel grounds was definitely an advantage. What I found surprising, however, was the hotel’s policy of requesting debit or credit card details including the CVC code at check-in, supposedly as security against potential damages. I declined to provide the CVC code, as this is essentially the same as handing over the full card and PIN. The receptionist then called the manager, whose reaction was rather unpleasant. He insisted that “this is Ireland” and that such practice is standard in all Irish hotels. When I asked for a refund so that we could look for alternative accommodation, he eventually softened his approach and admitted that this information was not actually necessary. It is worth noting that no other hotel in Ireland, or elsewhere in the world, has ever required me to provide such sensitive information, and I find it difficult to understand why this property would. This experience is the main reason for my lower rating.
