Good location. Room is big and clean

Everything went great - clean room, nice staff, central location

I didn’t eat there, but they hotel was lovely.

Reception staff so nice

The check-in staff and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were a decent size. The website noted there was a gym and a hot tub. The gym was being redone and not available and they haven't have a hot tub in months, but never updated the website. Also, we were awaken three times one night by the fire alarm. There was no fire, but we were never communicated to and I had to repeatedly call the front desk to find out that someone was smoking in their room. Also, there is no security from the car park into the hotel and kids were fighting in the alley, came into the hotel and were fighting in the hotel. There were also fights and people screaming in the car park. I did not really feel safe and the hotel needs to add badge access for guests from the car park to prevent others from entering the hotel.

Courteous staff, clean room

great location walkable to shops and restaurants. the room had no ac and was extremely hot in august. we had the window open but it was quite noisy outside at night on a saturday. the lounge in the hotel also got quite noisy on saturday but during the week it was fine. layout was a bit confusing, lots of stairs and winding hallways. clean and historic. the parking was convenient. would recommend.

Clean room lovely and warm

The room was comfortable and clean. The location was great for the National Park. However, security could be better. I stayed in room 240 and two males knocked on my door at 2.30am looking for their friend who was staying next door. They then came back 9 minutes later. It was then I noticed there wasn't any sort of security camera in the corridors. I would stay again but that incident ruined my nights sleep on the second night.

We had a great stay, hotel right in the heart of everything. Roomy with a comfortable bed. Pubs, shops, restaurants right at your doorstep. Helpful staff. Also has a restaurant with live music!

Room was fine. Location was great. The bar needs work. Very cold and service was poor.

Great location in the center of town and close to the park visitor center. Lots of pubs and restaurants plus shopping. Severa car parks nearby.

Excellent facility conveniently located to restaurants and shopping.

I was very disappointed as we were given a room that was next to an alley where we listened to the Pubs emptying all their bottles from midnight until 2:00am. There were a lot of people talking until 3:00am. The room we were given was considered the first floor. We took a lift from the ground floor to the first floor, and then had 4 long halls and 18 stairs to lift our luggage over. The room was very clean, but needed some refurbishment.

The place was great, staff was great!

The hotel is nicely located. The breakfast was very good and the bed was comfortable. The room was very cold. We were promised an extra heater but it never arrived. Asked for a light bulb to be changed - never happened. Very much overpriced!
