This was a great guest house within walking distance of the lovely town of Malahide. We wanted to stay near the airport for an early flight the next morning and liked the idea of a charming local spot rather than those big, modern hotels at the airport. The restaurant in town had delicious seafood and our hosts in the B&B were gracious and accommodating. It was an easy 10-15 minute drive to the airport. By all means stay here !!

Friendly and efficient and comfortable

The Heatherview B&B is definitely the nicest bed-and-breakfast that I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was brand new and high-quality. You can tell that Jim and his wife have been doing this for sometime and truly take pride in their place. The bathroom floors are heated, the beds and all of the linens were brand new, high-quality toiletries. It’s also very convenient for forgetting to the airport, it’s literally less than 10 minutes away. Jim and his wife are so sweet, I forgot a piece of jewelry, and he literally drove it to me at the airport. I was blown away by their hospitality. I will definitely be staying there the next time I am in Ireland. Thank you again for everything! ☘️

Väldigt mysigt lite hotell nära flygplatsen. Värden hade bra mailkontakt innan ankomst för att stämma av detaljerna. Mötte upp vid ankomst o var väldigt informativ och tillmötesgående. Hotellet ligger inte nära restauranger eller transporter så det blev en promenad på några km. Sköna sängar, tyst o lugnt, inte så mkt trafik utanför. Trevligt hotell.

Very peculiar host. Unaware of personal space& quite obnoxious. Be aware that he told us that he only accepts cash- no card payments. This is quite unusual in modern times. We had to drive into a local village to find a bank machine& withdraw cash to pay. We didn’t opt for breakfast as we couldn’t wait to get out of there. On the positive, the room was clean and comfortable, although the decor was dated throughout the house.

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY FOR A NIGHT

I was looking for an area near the airport- but with walkable areas to spend the afternoon. Man- did I hit the jackpot on this place!! It was in a great area, near the Castle grounds for walking and walked into town for dinner. What a great town it is! And the castle grounds are gorgeous for spending time outside. The B and B itself was great. En-suite bathrooms, and the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in in awhile. Jim, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful in planning my afternoon. I highly recommend this place!

Quite expensive for value in more rural area

Beautiful property. Friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom was a tiny bit small but adequate for my needs.

Meravigliosa accoglienza, ci hanno dato tanti consigli. Struttura bellissima, immersa nel verde pulita, comoda, confortevole. Unica pecca, per soggiorno di una sola notte non è servita la colazione, ma da quanto compreso potrebbe essere richiesta. In ogni caso ci hanno suggerito il posto più vicino all’ hotel e ci siamo trovati benissimo

Very nice place to stay. Bed was very comfortable and the hosts were fantastic and helpful. This is a beautiful area, so make sure to do a tour at the castle and go to the beach. Very close to the car rentals near the airport. I expected it to be a little noisy with the airport nearby and being just off a busy road, but that wasn’t the case at all. Very quiet.
