Fresh and good.

Staff was lovely speziell the breakfast staff. Room was ok but bath room lacking ( tab loose. Sink overflow dirty.)

Everything was very good, very clean, room was spotless, bed very comfortable, had great sleep 😴 breakfast was excellent plenty of variety, nicely presented and hot food nice and hot, we enjoyed our stay and will be back for a longer stay, staff very helpful and friendly especially receptionist, thank you

Lovely hotel, i have stayed here several times. Staff are really nice. Breakfast was a disgrace as it is one set price so we paid €27 for cereal x 2, tea x 2, toast and yoghurt. The cereal was also a cheap brand and it was stale.

Wed Sept 3 the hotel itself was nice. town was beautiful. While eating our meal- (mine had a hair in it. Nothing was done when I reported it "my apologizes") my observations.... There was a party of some sort going on. they disrupted other diners by blocking a door open on a chilly night. The REAL problem was a child that was part of the party grabbed a handful of paper straws off the bar and put them in her mouth. THEN put all but 1 back in the straw container on the bar. I mentioned this to the bartender and to who I thought was the manager on duty. The bartender removed the straws but did not throw them away- just removed them to the back of the bar. I was watching to see what was going to be done. Unacceptable by anyone's standards! We left the dining room immediately! Sad because we were enjoying ourselves in your lovely hotel & town.

Comfortable bed.

It was amazing dinner and breakfast and we are enjoying at talbot Carlow hotel and there is swimming and sauna and hot deep box and bowling next door and foods shopping over road and shame as we have not got time to do at gym oh never mind and the manager and staff are helpful and friendly and thank you to them for hard work and bed help us comfort sleep and smile 👍😇thank you again

The noise level was off the charts and they couldn’t do anything about it on a Sat night. From kids running between rooms slamming doors and yelling in the hallways even after telling them to please be quiet is wild enough from 9:30-11:30pm, but we were not told that we have a room right above the restaurant and that they play live music until 11:15pm some nights including the night we were there. It vibrates through the floor and even with ear plugs, it was loud enough to sing to the lyrics. We would have changed rooms knowing that because we had an early start. I understand this is a hotel and there are many noise factors, but there has to be some level of expectation towards people’s comfort. They should invest in soundproofing their ceiling in the restaurant long term or warn people upfront short term. The foyer was pretty and has a beautiful perfume spray. The breakfast in the morning was top notch. The finishes in the room and hallways don’t match the age of the foyer and restaurant but I’m sure they will Reno eventually. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke also, which was off putting, but thankful my parents didn’t get that room because my Mom is allergic to it.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Bar staff very helpful. We did not use the other amenities but they were available. The hotel was next door to a large shopping area and we walked into town for an evening meal.

IT WAS GOOD FOR WHAT WE WANTED AND WHAT WE PAID.

Zimmer ohne Klimaanlage, Art der Oberbetten nicht sommerlich, zu dick. Unser Stockwerk wurde renoviert, was eigentlich zu begrüßen wäre, als wir jedoch aus dem Lift ausstiegen sah der Bodenbelag aus als hätte jemand seinen Mülleimer ausgelehrt. Es lagen noch Reste vom abgeschnittenen Teppich und andere Teile der durchgeführten Arbeiten auf dem Boden verteilt. An der Rezeption wurde kein Hinweis gegeben das dort gearbeitet wird. Als 1. Eindruck als Gast sehr schlecht

Staff and service was great the down fall was the small family rooms with one small window that could not open the full way there was a fan in the room but didn’t really help with the heat.the pool is very small no kids pool as advertised, there is a fitness class on every morning from 9-10 am which take over the pool but guest are not informed of this before hand which means guests can’t really access the pool till after 10 am and are left waiting at the side of the pool if you don’t know this. Lockers in dressing rooms were broken was had to find one that locked.

Buen hotel, algo mejorable la limpieza, no por sucio, sino porque huele a tabaco, tanto en la habitación como en los pasillos. Es un puntazo que esté incluída la piscina, con actividades y el gimnasio. El desayuno bastante completo y de buena calidad. Falta que tuviese aire acondicionado en las habitaciones. Un hotel de 4 estrellas con ventilador no es aceptable. És ideal si vas con niños porque tiene bolera, etc.

Nice hotel in centre of town

Seulement pour une nuit mais nous aurions pu volontiers y rester plus longtemps. Personnels très gentil et hôtel très sympa.!

Clean, quiet, comfortable!

Good property. Don’t think it is a 4 star property though, more so 3.5 star. Room was clean, beds were very comfortable, breakfast was great. Great location, walkable to stores near by. Property could use some updating to get up to a true 4 star rating.
