Talbot Hotel Stillorgan

시내까지 버스로 20~30분 정도 걸리는 것 같은데 2층버스를 타고 가면서 경치구경도 하고 괜찮았음, 버스로 이동하기 편한 위치, 깔끔하고 조용한 호텔, 다만 수압이 좀 약함

I liked the staff , they were really helpful the staff at reception. I had a issue with my room and they fix it immediately. I didnt like the menu in dining , its very basic and theres nothing that jumps out and you go ...yes i would love that .Dont get me wrong the menu its fine but it could be way better.

Excellent accueil, chambre, très propre, rien à dire

Great experience. We were in Dublin due to a family funeral. The 'afters' was at the Talbot and we booked bedrooms there as well to make all the transitions easier. Staff were wonderful and empathetic, allowed us to check in early to get ready for the services. Rooms were very comfortable, had everything we needed. Sunday carvery was very family oriented (you need to book though!), and breakfast/lunch/dinner options hit the mark. It's right across the road from Aircoach stop so easy to get to the airport when it was time to leave. Altogether it was perfect for our needs and on my list of hotels to check out when we're next in town.

The Talbot Hotel did not disappoint us. Excellent service on arrival. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and spacious. I would recommend anyone to stay at the Tolbot when visiting Dublin.

Everything was good really in general. Gr8 location, nice layout inside, parking super, staff in breakfast area and throughout most of the hotel were friendly. Some of the bedlinen was not good. I flagged it they offered another room or to change bedlinen. A helpful staff member arrived up with some pillowslips so that was acceptable. The ventilation in the bathroom wasfclogged with fluff. Had paid for room onlinewbutcharged for the room (an extra 6 euros) so I paid it as I was too tired on arrival to realise I'd already paid in full. Checked my phone later realised I'd paid 2 different amounts twice so when flagged it I was told I should only have been charged for the booked breakfast for 3 (45 euros). So I was refunded the 2nd amount I'd paid minus the 45. Didn't get much of an apology but they did agree next day to allow an extra hour before checkout for free so I was happy enough sure that was handy. Found one of tge barmen to be a little grumpy which really is not acceptable. Was only in tge bar once so I dunno if it's a regular thing. Then, when I handed back the key cards the man on the front desk tried to charge me 50 euros for a deposit. I explained I'd paid in full online before I'd arrived and there was no mention of deposit. He checked again and I was right. It was very embarrassing discussing this at the front desk lot people around. He made no apology. Felt the front desk staff could have been a little more friendly and courteous to customers.

Excellent quality & value

Excellent welcome by Niamh at reception and had a beautiful room after our nightmare travel that day but the upgrade to a superior room just made the day better.

The hotel is ideally located for staying when visiting UCD. I have made numerous trips this fall, staying here each time. I have never been disappointed. The hotel is always clean, the staff is welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful. Bala continues to go out of his way to make my stay comfortable. I appreciate his professionalism and customer care.

Bala is a gem. He is exceptionally courteous and helpful. This is my second stay at the Talbot this fall. I come here when visiting my daughter at UCD. This is certainly my go-to for a hotel. The location is perfect for campus visits. The hotel is immaculate, breakfast is fantastic and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend the Talbot for anyone visiting the South of Dublin, particularly UCD.

Check in was terrible, one staff member and 6 people in the queue while other staff came and went (including the manager) and did nothing to help

I was woken at 23:50hrs by maintenance works being carried out adjacent to my room. I was promised by the hotel staff to get moved to another room but this didnt happen. The works continued for another 20 mins. My nights sleep was disturbed and I was unable to get back to sleep properly. In the morning hotel management refused to deal with the matter and referred me back to Hotels.com. Totally unacceptable

Lovely area and staff. A bit of unprofessionalism from the check in lady who was rudely telling the cleaning attendant to clean her work area while checking us in, could have finished with us first and been nice about it. The restaurant did not have a lot of vegetarian options although that was not a bad thing we were able to order from the nearest restaurants

Nice hotel good location to get in and out of the city and surrounding suburbs, free parking good wifi , food a bit fancy and quite expensive especially breakfast €15 why? Nice gym nice and clean great helpful staff .i had a lovely sized room .
