Continental breakfast What the hotel Could do to improve, is disabled guest's need shower, showers over the bath, is a no go for me and my other friends. Needs handrails, grab rails. Apart from that no complaints really

The hotel is really nice and I found the staff to be really nice too. It's in an ideal location right on the promenade so easy to find and I had no problem finding somewhere to park our hire car. The only thing I would say negative is that my top floor room had two issues: it was really warm and I couldn't find a fan. The other problem was that on the first night of the stay I had four wasps flying around in the early hours so I had to close the window - which made the room unbearably warm and disturbed my sleep. The complimentary continental breakfast, although basic, was nice and was all I needed. You can pay for a larger breakfast at their other hotel according to the sign, but I didn't need that.

Great budget hotel. Perfect for short stopovers.

The room was far too large. The bed was cheap and I was unable to sleep in it as it made my back ache. The duvet was too small for the bed and the pillow cases were old and worn. They say they provide a complimentary continental breakfast but it was only toast, packet jams, low fat yoghurt, juices and tea or coffee in flasks. Wouldn't recommend this 'hotel'.

Room at back of hotel - noisy air con outside, lights on all night outside shines in room through inadequate curtains. Scary stairs to ground floor - no hand rail on bottom flight. Poor breakfast even if complimentary- shower good! View to sheer cliff or adjacent hotel rooms.

Great hotel for a break with plenty of buses stopping outside if you don’t fancy the fantastic 20 minute walk along the promenade to the City Centre. Bus from the airport No2 stopped outside the hotel which was a bonus

Room was nice and big with a sea view. Bed was comfortable tea and coffee facilities. My only complaint is the TV signal sometimes went off. Picture but no sound.

I enjoyed my stay here very quiet lovely bathroom plenty of hot water. Parking good. Close to promanard.

Really nice hotel. Spacious clean rooms. Staff great. Complimentary continental breakfast. Reception not manned through day, but not a problem as telephone linked. Had a great stay.

Spacious room, friendly staff, breakfast as advertised

The Penta is a nice, reasonably priced hotel across from the beach. We stayed in room 19, which is considered a ‘large twin’. We didn’t have a view, but the room was spacious,quiet, clean and well maintained. I would warn those with mobility issues that the tub is high and may be difficult to climb out. The free Breakfast was simple but it was all we needed: cereal, toast , juice, coffee and tea. Although there were only a few restaurants close by, we liked the Chinese restaurant next to the casino. The bus stop is across the street, allowing us to get all over the island without difficulty. We highly recommend the Penta.

Older property, but well maintained and the staff members were wonderful!

Well located budget hotel with friendly and efficient staff. The room was very stuffy and airless and the “continental” breakfast was really just some cereals and toast. But a good location.

Easy access to the electric railway and the walk to the city centre was along the sea-front

Angel was very helpful in finding transportation from the hotel to the port. Hotel is located close to the town center, bus stations, electric tram. Clean, modern, with continental bfast included.

No view from room but clean and pleasant with all the amenities you would expect
