바이오 호텔 팔레르모

One night in Palermo. Sightseeing by walking in the city Center, and by car outside Palermo to the seaside. Biohotel worked well for us with it’s location and with functional and to the purpose service. Very friendly personnel.

Bien situé. Douche cassée. Chambre vetuste. Nuit bruyante.

Bio Hotel is a small hotel located in an excellent area of Palermo. Facilities were fine for our requirements. Breakfast was adequate. I would certainly recommend the hotel for the cost conscience traveller who is looking for a clean, convenient located hotel.

The location was very convenient for all the major landmarks. The hotel room was spacious, neat, clean and very modern. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. there are no laundry facilities, but you can find dry cleaners down the street. The coffee at breakfast was terrible, but other than that, it was a lovely stay for a low price. I would certainly stay again.

One of the main reasons we stayed at the Bio Hotel was because we thought it was eco friendly and would offer a high quality service in terms of local foods etc. Unfortunately it looks like ‘bio’ extends to interior design only and not any of the products - bathroom miniatures contained sodium lauryl sulphate and parabens. Breakfast was sparse and mainly cake. Our bathroom had mould in, the toilet seat was broken on one side and there were squashed mosquitos on the wall that previous guests had swatted and not cleaned off. The room was fine enough but the terrace which we had paid extra for was dirty and the plants hadn’t been watered so they were dying. There were so many staff that manned the front desk while we were there that we lost track and agree with others that it might be a training school. They were perfectly friendly but not polished or that helpful. I would say this is a b&b rather than a hotel and fine if you need a stopover but we felt like we had been mislead as to the quality of the place.

Hotel is in a great location for seeing the sights. Staff tried hard to please, but was inexperienced. Lacked basic knowledge of the city. Everyone seemed to be in training. Hotel is on the seventh floor of a remodeled building, which is only a problem if the elevator isn’t working. This happened while we were there. It was fixed within the day, but we still had to walk up the seven flights. Breakfast was ok. Could be improved by adding fruit and cheese, which other hotels in Sicily offer. Overall an ok experience but price value was lacking.

En arrivant, la réception nous a informé par interphone que la chambre réservée et payée depuis plusieurs semaines n’était pas disponible à cause d’un bris de plomberie. On a été envoyé dans un premier hôtel jugé inacceptable et dans un second à peine mieux. Aucun remboursement n’a été fait alors que l’hôtel proposé, après vérification sur Expedia, était beaucoup moins cher pour ce week-end de Pâques. Vraiment problème de plomberie ou sur-Booking et Expedia non-prioritaire?

El hotel está en la séptima planta de un edificio en el que hay otros hoteles. Algunas habitaciones (suite) disponen de terraza con mesita y vistas a la ciudad. La cama es cómoda, el baño amplio, la ducha tipo lluvia y los consumibles (papel, cremas, etc) son de tipo biológico sin que por ello pierdan calidad. Hay algún detalle que pide algo de mantenimiento pero nada importante. La zona de desayuno es acogedora, con bollería y algo de embutido, panes, fruta variada y tarritos de cremas/mermeladas. Una parte está sobre la terraza cubierta, perfecto para el verano. Tienen recepción 24h y son amables. La calle es zona azul para aparcar salvo algunos trozos que son amarillos (reservados). Está cerca del teatro máximo y no muy lejos del resto de monumentos.

Although the property is in very close proximity to the city center, the building in which the room was located is antiquated. While room itself was clean, it was a small room. The staff was very courteous and eager to help when asked. I am not sure whether I would reserve at this place again.

We really liked our stay in this small, boutique hotel (only 8 rooms on a floor of a building holding several, similar establishments). Staff could not have been nicer, location was excellent, and the fresh baked breakfast cakes were a nice addition. The room was clean and comfortable. No regrets for choosing this hotel.

We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. It was refreshing to see a young staff in an eco friendly hotel. The rooms were spacious and bright.

I enjoyed the modern design of the room and bathroom, the healthy and delicious breakfast and the friendliness of the staff. A great place to stay for a tourist visit of Palermo and places nearby.

Dejligt lille nystartet hotel med meget venlig betjening centralt beliggende og meget rent. Personalet gør alt for at du får en god oplevelse.
