Abbiamo soggiornato a Casa Cuseni per due notti e la nostra permanenza non ha avuto nulla di assimilabile alla permanenza in un hotel: Casa Cuseni è un museo privato in cui si ha il privilegio di alloggiare! Le camere, il giardino storico e le stanze della villa sono un’opera d'arte. Noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna di soggiornare nella suite Don Roberto, arredata con mobili d’epoca e dotata di una terrazza privata con vista su Taormina, sul mare e sull'Etna. La terrazza comune dove viene servita la colazione ha una vista altrettanto impagabile. La nostra ospite, la Signora Mimma, ci ha accolto con estrema disponibilità e cortesia. La Signora Maria ci ha guidati attraverso un tour storico/artistico della dimora e di tutte le personalità che negli anni l’hanno frequentata, spesso lasciando in essa il segno della proprietà creatività. La nostra visita a Taormina non sarebbe stata la stessa se avessi soggiornato in un qualunque altro hotel della città!!

Don’t expect modern sanitised luxury, but if you want a place you’ll remember there can’t be many better.

Superbe séjour dans cette villa incroyable. Vue imprenable, surtout depuis la chambre Don Roberto que nous avions prise. Le propriétaire Francesco et Maria étaient adorables et très accueillants, très serviables !
La maison est en fait aussi un musée et nous avons pu profiter de la visite guidée réalisée par Maria qui nous a fait connaître ce lieu regorgeant d’histoire.

What a unique experience staying at a property like that, the history and beauty of the place is extraordinary. The gardens were so beautiful and relaxing with the smell of the jasmine flowers. The views of Etna and the sea were so amazing. The breakfast in the morning was so delicious. The staff and the owners so attentive, we even got a private tour of the museum. The location was fantastic near everything. I would highly recommend this place don’t hesitate book, so relaxing and beautiful! An experience to cherish in Taormina!

This unique gem is hard to put into words the history, feel and beauty of this hotel and museum. The caretakers and staff are lovely and caring, very nice new new pool, the history of art and culture around every turn are indescribable. I would high recommend to stay here if you enjoy art and culture.

Casa Cuseni is not a traditional hotel, but a mix of museum, residence and albergo boutique situated just some (dozen) steps from Porta Catania. It may not be for everyone, but it suited me quite well. The room is large, the furniture is as historical as the building itself, the bed is comfortable, linen and towels are of superior quality, and it seems like you grandma house, with an atmosphere a bit twisted. I loved my stay; the views are amazing, and my room had an enormous terrace which offered me the Etna all day long. If you are not looking for a chain hotel, and you like different places to stay, and you don't mind climbing some steps two or three or four times a day, Casa Cuseni may be the place for you. Last thing: there is a new pool available... enjoy!

Casa Cuseni is a wonderful place with a remarkable history that added a lot to our stay. Maria was fabulous in managing our visit and we found the entire experience to be quite charming and relaxing. We will definitely book this beautiful hotel again next time our travels bring us to Taormina.
