初めに予約していた部屋は下水臭く、それを誤魔化すように芳香剤が撒かれていました。 天井も低く、閉鎖的な空間であったこともあり、部屋の変更を申し出たところ快く受け入れていただきました。 翌日は大晦日ということもあり、満室で部屋の変更はできませんでしたが、返金に応じていただき丁寧な対応でした。 最初の部屋の状態は残念でしたが、移動後の部屋の居心地は悪くなく、朝食のビュッフェも美味しく、対応も満足のいくものでした。

The hotel and service are both good. There are a few breakfast options available, and while limited, they’re a decent way to start the day. The room is a comfortable size, and the bathroom is also spacious and well-maintained. The only downside is that you have to carry your luggage up a couple of flights of stairs, as there’s no elevator and no staff assistance available.

Location was fabulous. We stayed in the Briga apartment and it was cozy and comfortable. They were responsive to any request and helpful in arranging an early morning taxi to the train station. It could get a little noisy in the morning from the street from our apartment but I just put in ear plugs and I was good to go. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

Hotel was okay. Wouldn’t recommend for a long period stay. The room was loud. Could hear everything outside and the room above. The room smelt musty and had to keep bathroom closed or window open for sewage smell. Bed was decently comfortable. Mini fridge was not free. Water bottles were more expensive. Recommend bringing own drinks or purchasing outside hotel. Restaurant beside hotel was delicious. Gondola rides were right outside the hotel.

The location was great. It’s in the center of Venice. We took ferry. Is the second stop at the airport it’s about 10 minutes walk. There’s a lot of stairs to go up and down to get to the hotel so just be careful with that. If you are unable to do stairs, don’t go to Venice. Back to the hotel there’s a tall stairs to go into the reception. There is a wheelchair but there isn’t an elevator. The bathrooms smell a little bit, but I’m not sure if that’s because it’s Venice, but it was clean. Also the AC wasn’t working because the receptionist said the town obligates them to shut the AC off at certain month. I went on November month so there was no AC, but she gave us a fan.

This was our second time at the Antico Doge hotel. It’s very conveniently positioned within walking distance to all major attractions and transport to and from the airport. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay again.

The property provides a buffet breakfast but does not have a bar or other dining options. Our room was spacious, clean, and furnished in an "antique"style with silk lined walls. Overall good, and location was fine for walking to Rialto Bridge and St. Marks Square.
