호텔 델라 포르테사

한국인이 잘 방문하지 않는 작은 소도시에 위치한 호텔입니다. 저는 하프보드로 신청하여 저녁, 조식 모두 맛있게 먹었습니다. 도시 자체에는 할게 있지는 않지만 여행중에 충분히 휴식 할 수 있었어요 고성에서 숙박하는 멋진 경험이였고 저희방(스위트로 업글됨) 난로도 있어서 불멍도 했어요 고성이여서 어쩔 수 없는 부분은 엘레베이터는 없어요 하지만 1개층 내외여서 짐 이동은 큰 문제 없지 않을까합니다 와이파이는 잘 안되었는데 도시 자체가 인터넷이 잠깐씩 끊기는것 같아요 다시 올거냐하면 무조건 다시와서 한 일주일 아무생각없이 맛있는 조식-저녁 먹으면서 쉬다 가고싶어요!

조용했다

오래된 성이지만 엄청나게 깨끗해서 기분좋게 묵었어요. 프런트 직원분도 엄청나게 친절해요.

Struttura Bellissima e Personale Gentilissimo e Preparato.

Sorano was our final leg of journey to Tuscany in May 2026. It was our first experience staying in a hotel converted from medieval fortress! We cannot thank enough the hotel staff, Silvia, for providing us extremely detailed instructions and advice before and during the stay, and Bianca, for providing us a room upgrade (with magnificent view on the town below and the valley). The place itself, Sorano, is deeply rich with Etruscan history (caves, ancient roads, etc.) and is just 10 km from another medieval gem, Pitigliano. If you arrive by car, the free parking lot is conveniently located just outside the castle gates with 2 minutes' walk to the hotel itself. Highly recommend!!!

The staff were so kind I can not recommend this place more. The atmosphere were excellent.

Every aspect about this hotel was much agreeable to us - beautiful surroundings and breakfast far above the avg, especially croissants. Staff was wonderful as well.

This is one of the most unique hotels in all of Tuscany. Situated in 12the century fortress, this place combines the exquisite taste of the owner and management with the old charm of Sorano. I would highly recommend it to all travellers.

This was the best stay we ever had in Italy. The hotel is very genuine in the heart of Toscana, everything is thought through into every detail. Soreno is the most beautiful little Italian village looking almost carved out of the mountain it stands on and not overloaded with tourists. Their own restaurant serves amazing food with only locally produced products. However the best part of the stay was the staff, everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming, gave local recommendations and told us about the thoughts behind the dinner menu, making our stay the best.

This is a fortress as the name of the hotel implies. The rooms are in the Fortress Orsini. There is a parking lot that's about a 3-5 minute walk to the hotel (depending on how close to the hotel you park) but beware of maps on the iPhone. It indicated that I had to walk a lot farther, but when I called the hotel, they explained that I only had to walk a few minutes. The room was decent but since I sent in November, it was cool. The room had a radiator but I was informed that it was turned on only a couple times a day. So the room was not comfortable. Sleeping wasn't a problem because if it's a little cool, one can still stay warm. However, after a very long walk down to the city and back, I cam back to the hotel and it was very cold. And even when the heat was turned on, there was only a trickle of heat coming from the radiator. Be aware of this if you are traveling there during cold weather.

The staff was amazing, all was perfect, I felt like living in another century.

It was a great experience!! Loved the hotel and walking around. Sylvia was especially kind and gracious. The rosa house wine was excellent. We will be back from America and will certainly tell our friends and family!! Thank you you such a memorable experience!!
