kind staffs, clean and large room, convenient location. I'd like to stay here again.

Lovely little hotel very close to the lake.

The location was excellent, and the staff were wonderful. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was reasonably good.

De kamer was ruim, maar met vier bedden wel wat vol. Lekker ontbijt.

Le personnel est disponible, le déjeuner parfait. Petite chambre mais tout est là pour un agréable séjour. À moins de 1km à pied du ferry, des bus et trains et quelques pas du Lac 👍 et de la Passeggiata Lino Gelpi (pour pouvoir marcher près du Lac). Merci

Pésima atención. Llevábamos el desayuno incluido y no nos lo respetaron.

Although the rooms are fairly small, they are comfortable. The noise from the street is very loud and persistent all night long so wear ear plugs if you get a room streetside. The breakfast was lovely with excellent cappuccino & espresso and a nice selection of meats and pastries. It is very close to the San Giovanni train station which is a plus. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Hotel un po’ datato, ma in buona posizione, a circa 10 min dal centro di Como. Personale gentile e disponibile. Colazione al tavolo abbondante e varia. Ottimo per pernottare qualche giorno.

This hotel was conveniently located just minutes from the train station and also a place called Osella Bella, which has a partnership with Bounce. This is a hostel that allows you to store your luggage, since this is not available at the train station. This was great for me since I did not want to carry two heavier pieces of luggage with me for a day and a half trip to Lake Como. It was very affordable too. Literally located down the same street from this hotel. The breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Close to some great restaurants, but if you are there on a weekend, you must have reservations. I finally got a seat at the 5th restaurant I tried.

L'hotel est situe a distance de marche de la gare et du parc pres du lac. J'ai ete surpris de la qualite de la chambre petite mais propre et confortable. Excellent service du personnel tres serviable. J'y retournerai surement. Malgre le bruit du traffic de jour j'ai bien dormi (la chambre est bien isolee lorsque les fenetres sont fermees).

I liked everything! The location is great! A few meters to the bus stop and 500 meters to the boat station. Staff very helpfull. Breakfast included. What else could I ask! The room was very comfortable, the matress excellent. Surely I will return

It was ok, the hotel is near to the old town, the breakfast was also ok and the staff was nice… But….. There are 2 rooms on the ground floor. The doors of these 2 rooms is so close to each other. We‘ve got the one of them. In the night 2 am the hotel accepted new guests for the other room. The receptionist ask in front of our door the passports of the new guests and have some conversations. It was so noisy!!!! Disrespectful !!! I’m not sure that I will chose this hotel for the next time…

Wir hatten uns im Datum der Übernachtung vertan, aber man hat uns gleich weitergeholfen und umgebucht. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Die Unterkunft ist durchschnittlich. Auffälligkeiten: - Das Bett ist etwas hart - Frühstück ist gut mit Tischservice - Straße vor der Tür ist etwas laut - Dusche ist etwas eng - Parkplatzsituation ist schwierig und man muss eventuell schauen wo man was findet. Die kosten betragen ca. 20 pro 24 Stunden aktuell

H.com really lied about this hotel...their information on several hotels in Italy was all poor. I don't think they have actually looked at the properties. I've used them for 10+ years and now with Expedia owning them the quality of the loyalty program and the truth of their ads about the properties has gone way down! Engadina, called themselves a 2 star in Como..but 1 star is more like it. And the H.com ad for the hotel pitches it like a 3 star, its NOT! The hotel was only marginally clean, location was good, the standard European breakfast was fine, cheese, sliced meat, bread and juice. Yogurt if you wanted some. Beds in the rooms need replacing and ours had a separate twin bed with the double, but was advertised as a sofa...the pictures are not what the condition of the rooms are like. The hotel is trying to be a 2 star, but has a way to go. Expedia and H.com should really review their Italian properties and get their star rating right...just tell the truth. When you are comparing properties in a place you have not been you need the truth to know how much to pay, based on accurate property descriptions. If I was a kid looking for a hostel Engadina is fine, but if I'm an older couple....it doesn't work. I know Como is expensive, but good information would have helped me set a good budget for the hotel in the City. And we experienced this problem several times in our Month in Italy. Never before had such bad information from H.com in 10+ years.
