Hotel Plaza Opera

The Hotel Plaza Opera in Palermo is truly a fantastic place to stay. It boasts an excellent location, with numerous historical sites and attractions just minutes away on foot. The hotel itself is in superb condition, featuring a top-notch spa and offering outstanding services. The staff is incredibly professional and attentive, ensuring a wonderful experience. The rooms are immaculate, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you might need. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Palermo—it’s a perfect choice!

The room was large. Loved the separation of the toilet and shower. Sheets had funny smell like it wasn't dried properly. Expedia shows 24 minutes to airport thats false advertising it's a 40 minute drive. Good selection for breakfast extremely happy with turkey option and eggs all over Italy it's pork only. Spa hydro option lovely very nice to find an actual turkish bath. I didn't like that breakfast was not included after paying €350 for a suite no upgrade option despite vip status. You literally have to go to the front desk every time you need something no phone to call with.

Location was convenient

I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. From the moment I entered the room, I could tell cleanliness wasn’t a priority. The windows, both in the room and bathroom, were visibly dirty, which made the whole space feel unkempt. The room itself was incredibly dusty, which was frustrating and made it uncomfortable to relax. The bed was another huge letdown—the mattress was so hard that I could barely sleep, and on top of that, the noise from the street was unbearable. Between the loud outside traffic and the general noisiness within the hotel, I didn’t get a single good night’s rest during my two-night stay. For a hotel at this price point, I expected far better. While the robes and slippers were nice, it was disappointing to learn I had to pay extra to be upgraded to a room that included them. As for the service, the front desk staff was just okay—nothing special—and there was no assistance offered for my luggage. Overall, this hotel is incredibly overpriced for what it offers. I won’t be returning and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a restful or luxury experience.

We stayed in but they consider their nicest sweet and the physicality was very good. However, we were below a bar and until two in the morning we could hear the chairs moving we paid €1500 for two nights just leaving a noisy room very disappointing.

La posizione è molto buona, a pochi passi dalla zona storica. Non semplice parcheggiare, per cui consiglio rivolgersi all'albergo. Colazione standard ma di buona qualità. Discreta insonorizzazione della stanza. Disponibili macchina per caffè espresso e bollitore per the. Letto comodo, pulizia efficiente. Non so se ho avuto upgrade, non me lo hanno detto comunque

Rommet var ikke klargjort på forhånd. Støv overalt, heller var ikke dynen tilstede og uten trekk. Skittent rom. Bestilte lydisolert rom, noe vi ikke fikk. Kunne godt andre gjester utenfor rommet, og de oss. Startet morgenen med å bli vekket av vaktmester som borret på morgenen, noe personalet ikke tok tak i. Vil ikke anbefale dette stedet, og vil benytte meg av et annet sted ved nytt opphold i Palermo. Hyggelig personalet i resepsjonen trekker opplevelsen opp.

Great location for the hotel, only few minutes of walk of the historic city. We were also able to park in the street in front of the hotel in a free parking due to the explanations of the reception staff and that was appreciated. The room was recently renovated and clean. Air conditioning was working great. Breakfast on the rooftop was good and had enough choices. Thanks for the stay.

The staff was exceptionally helpful

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Palermo. The property was clean and modern, with friendly and helpful staff that made me feel welcome. The location was excellent—just a short 5-minute walk to the Airport shuttle bus and very close to shops, cafes, and the vibrant Capo Street market, which is a must-visit! I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Palermo. Grazie mille!

L’accoglienza ricevuta e la struttura sono di livello, personale gentile e cordiale. Ho cenato nel ristorante dove ho avuto un buon servizio ed il cibo era buono. Ho usufruito della palestra che è piccola ma di livello rispetto ad altre palestre di alberghi. Unica nota dolente da migliorare era relativa all’aria condizionata della stanza perché nonostante impostassi Low era comunque forte e molto rumorosa. Ho dovuto staccarla andando però a patire il caldo. Ho chiamato la reception e hanno risposto che non c’era nulla da fare
