The owner of the hotel was super friendly. We arrived early in the morning from overnight travel from the USA. My daughter had motion and attitude sickness, and the owner gave us a room to sleep in until ours was ready. Excellent customer service! The Junior Suite was large, up to date, and looked better than the picture. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. We enjoyed our stay, and I would recommend this hotel. It is very convenient to the ferry to visit other islands. All the decor was pretty and tasteful done. The pool and beach club are across the street and not up to date like American Hotels, but the view and location are excellent.

Fantastic hotel in a very walkable area. Staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. AC works perfectly and kept my room very cool. Bed comfy.

Le déjeuner n’est pas très bon! La chambre est confortable mais l’eau coupe quelques fois par douche pour quelques secondes! L’équipe est fantastique et la localisation est parfaite! Place de l’hôtel est très rocailleuse et 50 euros par chambre par jour

We loved this hotel. Lovely room. Excellent air conditioning. Kept extremely clean throughout. Breakfast was good with fresh eggs available. Staff were amazing especially Angelo and Francesco and the head girl at breakfast. Always there to help. We felt very much at home in Maiori. Thank you everyone at San Francesco. We will be back.

We had a fantastic stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The staff were accommodating with our requests. Shout out to Geethika and Lucia at breakfast who always went above and beyond and served us with a smile. Also to the manager and Angelo who made us feel welcome. Also the cleaning staff ensured room was spotless every night (white tiles and white appliances spotless)

The staff was excellent. The location was beautiful. The stay was wonderful.

Had an amazing stay! The check-in process was quick and I must say definitely splurge on a balcony ocean view if you can. I originally booked a standard room (which I wasn't feeling after I checked in) but I was able to upgrade and they allow you to see the rooms available before you make a decision. I had a spacious room with 2 large balconies, each with a stunning view of the ocean front. The breakfast is from 7:30am-10:00am AND YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS! The options were amazing and the staff was truly the best. Makesure to ask for the San Francesco omelette. Literally a 4 minute walk to the Maiori ferry station which you can catch a ferry to literally anywhere on the coast. Getting to the hotel was fairly easy. Take the Frecciarossa to Salerno, and you can take the bus which was about 3 euros but not recommended if you get car sick with the windy roads. The ferry is faster option.

La camera mostrata in foto non rispecchiava le dimensioni della camera che ci è stata assegnata, molto più piccola di quella per cui abbiamo pagato. Nonostante abbiamo fatto presente la cosa ed abbiamo richiesto un cambio, la camera non ci è stata mai cambiata. Siamo rimasti molto delusi.

Where to begin!? The property is gorgeous and conveniently located; right across from a beautiful beach, a short walk to the ferry/bus stops, and just a few more minutes walk to neighbouring Minori (also an easy bus/ferry ride to all the other popular towns along the Amalfi Coast) The breakfast was wonderful and the attending staff were so warm and friendly even in the earliest of hours! Check in was a breeze and our room was beautiful and spacious. We were a little disappointed we didn’t get a room on a higher floor, but there was a little mix up communication-wise and the front desk attendants were trying their best to accommodate us. The star of our trip was Angelo, from the moment we got there till the minute we left, he went above and beyond to ensure he made us feel like absolute VIPs. We can’t sing his praises enough! Hotel San Francesco and the town of Maiori will forever hold a special place in our hearts. It all felt like a second home in paradise and we can’t wait to come back!

Trevligt hotell med trevlig personal. Lite minus på frukosten, väldigt litet utbud och mycket som var slut när man kom runt 8-9. Vi fick ett rum som hade otrolig mycket myror i sig vilket inte var så trevligt. Bra balkonger med havsutsikt på övre våningarna. Framgick inte så bra i informationen att den privata stranden och poolen kostar 40€ per dag per rum. Hissen skulle behöva en renovering så den stannad några gånger. Dom hade ett krångligt system med AC, man kunde inte höja/sänka temperaturen själv utan fick ringa till lobbyn om detta.

We had a great stay. The staff were very friendly and we felt comfortable and welcomed. The food was amazing. The cleaning was great. Thank you for making our vacation special!

I think the beach club should be included in the rate or the rate per say should be cheaper. 40 euros is a little much when the other private beaches are about 25 euros. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay in Maiori, the hotel was located in a convenient location and the room was clean. What we did not like was the misinformation that was shared in the Expedia app. The hotel amenities on the app includes a pool and beach club access but there is no mention of an additional cost or surcharge. The hotel staff did give us one complimentary day at the beach club but we had to request it. The other day of our stay did cost us 40€ each day if we wanted to use the beach or pool.
