Gem of a hotel in the middle of Venice, near Saint Mark’s. 5-10 minute walk from the ferry, but for a family of 4, the water taxi was a much better experience and value, the hotel has a private dock. Take them up on the free transfer to Murano island, it will save you $$ and is a must see in Venice. Just know that you have to get yourself back (9 euro per person on the ferry)
We had an upgraded suite with a canal view and can’t say enough about the room and furnishings. Lots of space, seats and area to spread out (not typical in Europe, especially Venice). The bathroom was large by European standards and very well equipped, including a towel warmer! Typical euro shower with no enclosure and a shower wand with a tub. Lots of amenities in the bathroom and a big sink with mirror. Built in hairdryer and US plug to top it off. Friendly warning, no AC, we didn’t need it in March, but it would be hot in summer.
The front desk Manager made our stay! I don’t remember his name, but he was incredibly gracious and helpful, made us feel at home and made great recommendations.
Would absolutely stay here again.

The room including many facilities is perfect and I really enjoyed breakfast since it offers various kind of bread, cheese, etc. Only one difficulty that finding hotel location. I'd arrived in Venezia around 8 PM and I had to struggle with finding it for more than 30 minutes because this hotel is not directly near to the port. If you're willing to take water taxi, it's not a problem at all. Otherwise, I think you should come to there during day time. Anyhow, above all, this hotel is really nice and cozy. Strongly recommanded.

The room felt very old and not worth the high price. I honestly don’t understand how this is considered a 4-star property. You expect a romantic Venetian stay, but the atmosphere is far from romantic - it feels tired and outdated. The hotel has a large living room, but it feels more like a museum than a palace, the kind of place where you’re afraid to touch anything.
The hotel clearly needs major renovation. Breakfast was disappointing—closer to an American motel buffet than authentic Italian fare, with no healthy options at all. Overall, it’s not a bad place, but it doesn’t deliver on the luxury or charm it promises.

This gorgeous property was in the heart of the downtown area. Close to everything, everywhere, but not right in front where the boats come in so it's a little quieter. Private water taxi is available to bring you to and from the property if needed. We stayed in the king suite with a canal view and it was amazing! 10/10 will stay here again!

Nous avons séjourné une nuit non pas dans l’hôtel mais dans son annexe, qui n’est pas rattachée directement à l’hôtel, mais sur la rive d’en face (style appartement).
À nôtre arrivée, nous avons été très bien accueillis et menés vers notre chambre au 1er étage.
Chambre correcte avec literie confortable.
Néanmoins, isolation phonique pas optimale, nous entendions le bois craquer à chaque pas de la personne du dessus.
Ajoutons que les volets et rideaux n’occultent vraiment pas assez.
Enfin, malgré une vue sur le canal assurée dans le descriptif de la chambre, les parasols perpétuellement ouvert du restaurant du dessous ne permettent pas d’en profiter pleinement.
