This was an old hotel where almost nothing seemed to work properly. The air conditioning was erratic — it was either too cold or too hot — and after taking a shower, the water didn’t drain well, leaving the bathroom flooded. At one point, the electricity even went out and we had to call someone to fix it.
Breakfast was another letdown, with sausages and eggs served completely cold, which was quite shocking. Overall, it was a very unpleasant stay, and this hotel is definitely not deserving of a 5-star rating.

Very nice hotel, I would stay there again. AC worked very well in August. I wish they would have a pick up service from the train station and back, a five star property should have a complimentary shuttle for their guests.

First time in Italy and traveling solo. Great location that was walking distance to everything, staff was excellent, hotel was very clean. The attractions were very beautiful. Busy but not unbearable. The only downside was the Caesar salad I ordered from room service. No flavor but the arrival was quick. Perhaps my tadtebuds are used to a more garlicky North American style salad.
