Magnifique hôtel avec une belle architecture, des meubles nobles et une chapelle à l’intérieur. Le service et le petit déjeuner sont excellents. J’ai été très agréablement surpris.

Una eccellente soluzione per Ravenna centro

The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. The room was spacious, the breakfast was abundant and very good, and the hotel is beautiful and conveniently located very close to Sant'Apollinare Nuovo.

Todo súper bien, sobre todo la amabilidad la gente de recepción y desayuno. Hotel en antiguo palacio súper bien situado cerca de todo.

Hotel has 5 parking spaces for guests in inner courtyard. You must reserve in advance, and ask in advance the address to arrive for this parking as it is difficult if not impossible to park in front of the hotel to check-in. Quite clean but basic room. Breakfast was great.

Perfect place to stay in Ravenna

Room 3 should NOT be offered as a guest space. It is stiflingly hot, with no AC. When you open a window, you get a great view of a giant HVAC system (which unfortunately only blows hot air into the already hot room.) The beds are not the advertised memory foam, but just hard old mattresses. We requested a different room after our first night, but unfortunately the hotel was full. The staff a pleasant and the breakfast was good. Sadly, those two good things couldn’t make up for how physically uncomfortable we were in our room.

Good hotel in the center of walkable area, close to UNESCO monuments, great restaurants. Breakfast is superb, the room is basic, practical, clean, no frills. A way to have hot tea or other hot drink in the room would have been a plus, but not there, however, plenty of possibilities at the breakfast area.

Fantastiskt att bo i ett palats. Frukosten mkt fräsch med frukt, grönsaker och artiskt utsmyckade capochino. Perfekt läge nära till järnvägsstationen och till sevärdigheterna. Boendet rekommenderas!

Perfect location, easy walk from train station, to sights and to restaurants. Awesome breakfast buffet and they have decaf coffee. Our walking tour started a block away.

Everything was great

The hotel is very well situated; about a 7 minute walk from the railway station on the one side and straight into the district including all the tourist sights on the other. Our room was enormous - described as a "traditional" room - which had a marble floor and very high painted ceiling, a huge bed, 2 sofas and a fridge. However, we understand that some rooms are much smaller so it's worth checking what you are booking. The only criticism of the room is that no kettle or tea & coffee facilities were provided, which seems very unusual these days, but they did provide a kettle on request and we were able to get our supplies from the CoOp store only 1 minute away. The breakfast buffet only offers cold food but it is plentiful and has a wide choice and is available from 7:00 - 10:30am. A nice touch is the bowls of sweets and chocolates around the reception / lounge area which provided a welcome treat on return from a day's activities. The staff at Reception and at Breakfast were friendly and welcoming. All in all, a very nice hotel and recommended.

Awesome place! This hotel is perfect in every aspect. It is located walking distance from all the city’s attractions. The construction inside es really beautiful, truly a work of art. Every corner has been perfectly designed and carefully maintained. It has an amazing garden and even the luxury of a small chapel/oratory. Rooms are not big but they are more than neat, simply impeccable. Breakfast is delicious and it is offered in a wide schedule, very convenient for the guests. You will be delighted by its elegance and beauty of this hotel. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer!

I had written a review that was poor, as I was very unhappy with our initial room. I think that this was the only such room in the hotel as it looked out on a noisy HVAC unit and required us to keep the wooden shutters closed to keep out noise. The hotel was very accomodating in moving our room the next day, which had a nice view of the inner courtyard and allowed us to bring in natural light to the room. The staff were very pleasant, and it really is a very nice and very reasonably priced hotel to stay in while in Ravenna. As long as you don't get Room 3, I apologize for my poor earlier review and would recommend the hotel.

An overall rating of good. Upon arrival we were given room 32. We found the room and were truly disappointed as it did not reflect or appear to look like any of the images posted online through Expedia. Within minutes we returned to reception and asked for a new room as the bathroom in 32 was underwhelming. In reality it had a shower curtain and heavily stained grouting. It was very much in need of renovating and should not be presented to paint guests. We were
