Väldigt trevligt hotell, ett stenkast från Tibern och det trevliga området Trastevere, med många mysiga restauranger. Väldigt bra skick, och hög standard. Kunnig och serviceinriktad personal. Vi är väldigt nöjda med Palazzo Velabro, vi bodde där 6 nätter. Lite kritik, en fantastiskt trevlig hotellbar fanns på terrassen på plan 1, men den missade vi nästan pga knapp information.

Nice hotel for few days stay in Rome.

The service was incredible. The room and bathroom were very spacious and well designed. The restaurant was also very good! The Fagottini and tiramisu is a must try!

Our 4 night stay at Palazzo Velabro was wonderful! Our room was spacious and had a large balcony that over looked a garden and faced the Palatine Hill. The location is fantastic as the property is located within pretty close walking distance to several historical sites including Circus Maximus, the Capitoline Hill, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. We also had no problem walking up to the Pantheon or Baths of Caracalla. The Tiber River is right across the street as is the bridge to Trastavere. The entire hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, setting up taxi rides and offering to help us make restaurant reservations. I would 100% recommend staying here and will definitely stay here next time we're in Rome.

We stayed 4 nights at Palazzo Velabro and loved the hotel. We booked the Classic Suite which was a beautiful retro-style 1 bedroom suite with a large pull-out couch for our son in the living room. The hotel serves a nice breakfast in the restaurant/ bar with some very good items that can be ordered as extras next to the buffet with lots of Italian pastries. The fresh grapefruit juice is heavenly. The hotel even has a 6-seat mini cinema where they play (classic) movies 3 times a day. Best part of the hotel is the location. It’s near the Forum Romanum and when you cross the river less then 15 mins walk to bustling Trastevere. Many other main sights are within 20-25 mins walk and if you don’t feel like walking it’s easy to get an Uber within 5 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful and as as the hotel was completely renovated recently it was in great condition. The hotel has a small gym. If you’re going to Rome, stay in this wonderful small hotel!

The hotel was beautiful, the staff was exceptional, and the room was spacious and felt luxurious. Nice breakfast. Big plus is the quite terras where you can unwind, get a quick bite and look out onto the Capitol Hill. The cocktails are outstanding. Location is excellent. 5 min walk from old forum, 10 min from great dinner places at Travestere, you can walk to the city centre/shopping areas. For further locations, there go a multitude of buses within a 5 min walk. Metro is 10 min walk. You can check into bus/metro with a debit card.

Palazzo Velabro is a wonderful hotel. Great design, generous room sizes, friendly staff, perfect tucked-away yet central location. And the rooms were very quiet - an essential for getting a good night’s sleep! Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel - has good places to visit and walk around. Good restaurants. Shopping for essentials etc is possible with a 1-2 km walk.

This was a beautiful property. It was clean and quiet and located within many historical sites within walking distance. I paid for the breakfast and every morning I had a delicious breakfast with two cooked eggs, bacon, and an assortment of delicious items! I would like to give a big shout out to Leeza who served me a delicious cappuccino every breakfast!! My son and I had a beautiful room with two twin beds and a sitting area! Very safe and quiet!

Cuarto amplio, buen desayuno y staff servicial. Pero sobre todo excelente cama. El hotel está junto al foro romano, por lo que es una buena zona céntrica sin estar en medio del caos donde está demasiado lleno de turistas.

The whole family enjoyed the stay. We also want to mention the amazing staff’s hospitality. It is simply an extraordinary hotel.

Extremely family friendly! The suite was perfect for a family with kids.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is in a walkable location. It is close to the Colosseum and Ancient Rome, but our room was very quiet and peaceful. It was clean and modern, with room for our family of 3 to spread out. There was a strange smell at times which is keeping me from 5 stars, but overall a great choice!
