Property had several pool options, right on the beach and roughly 9 restaurants to choose from. Food was amazing along with the entertainment.

Firstly, this is an all-inclusive property which advertises for top shelf liquor and gourmet food and dining. Neither is what was provided. The only bar you could get top shelf was at the Piano Bar and Marlin Bar. Food was horrible. Spoiled beef, and seafood. My husband had spoiled beef at El Patron restaurant that was inedible. Two tough steaks at Bordeaux and we both had tough lamb at Altitudes. The service at Altitudes was rushed and felt like they did not want you there at all. Only had buffet for breakfast and lunch and even those choices were limited. If you wanted Corona beers you could get them if you paid $150 a day for Butler service which you do not need. You do not need to make reservations except for hibachi table and Altitudes which you can do on your own where they do the buffet. It's ridiculous and totally not worth it. We were lucky we did not get food poisoning from the food we were offered. Wine is bottom shelf and if you wanted good wine you had to pay triple the price for a better bottle of wine. We would never return to this resort or Jamaica. We do not recommend Secrets Montego Bay, stay away.

Very friendly staff and the Preferred Club was well worth the expense for the quiet and relaxing vacation we desired.

I booked an ocean view room for my sister and I to celebrate her birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Lots of activities each day at the resort to participate in or just laying on the beach was incredible. Facilities all around seemed and felt clean and up to date. Food was tasty. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We ran into one incident during our stay, that was immediately rectified and I was pleased about how it was handled. After running a bath at the end of the night to relax, the bathtub began to leak all over the room floor. I called the front desk to let them know of the situation. The woman at the front desk sent a bellhop to move our belongings to another ocean view room on the same floor, along with a pair of the maintenance team to fix the tub. My sister sister and I had a fantastic time & thinking about returning this year!

Beautiful resort! Everyone and everything was top tier. All of the food was amazing and the staff was extremely professional, friendly, and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed that the property is quiet and relaxing. The beach is one of the most beautiful and calm beaches that I've ever been to! The food was sooo good! They had lobster tails on the buffet that were absolutely amazing! THIS IS NOT A PARTY RESORT, IT IS GEARED MORE TO RELAXATION! There wasn't much live entertainment at the pools or not a great night life scene, you will have to go to a club off of the resort for night life. The 24hr room service is poor, the wait was almost 2 hours and one night they didn't do room service at all. The swim out pool were not cleaned daily, we had to ask 3 times for the pool to be cleaned. Also the rooms need a bit of an upgrade and/or a deep cleaning especially in the corners of the bathroom where dirt has gather and has not been cleaned properly. My room stayed a bit damp, the bedsheets and couch and eventually my clothes all had a damp feeling to them. You will have to get to the beach early for a seat on both the preferred and non preferred side.

Nice a quiet friendly staff

My wife and I have traveled to other resorts with more attention to details that this resort. To start; we arrived pass 3 pm to the resort and we had to wait 45 min to 1 hour for our room to be ready. In the meanwhile, the reception was noisy and chaotic. Everyone is trying to sell you upgrades on the room you reserved and I felt if you don't upgrade the keep you waiting. Food was very low quality; fruit, salad and in general any food looked from 1 or 2 days behind. The only good restaurant of the many for dinner was the italian but good luck to be able to dine there. The asian restaurant that we tried the fist night was so bad that we did'nt eat. Really how difficult is to make fryed rice ??. Breakfast, as long as you ask for a eggs cooked in front of you you will be safe from food poison. The worse part was that when we checked in; the front desk staff never requested my credit card, but i figured they problably have my credit card that I used to hold my reservation. 2 days later our key rooms stopped working; so I called the front desk and i was informed that they deactivated my keys because they need my credit card. The staff was very very rude and made me feel like a deliquent. I have never felt that under-appreciate than in this resort. I will definitily will never come back to this resort.

Truly a gem of a property in Jamaica. Location and amenities. Pools and beaches spectacular. Ocean view room incredible and spacious. Cleaning staff friendly and accommodating. Some incredibly welcoming and accommodating staff. Some staff could use additional support and or training in customer service and friendliness. Restaurant wait times were excessive. However many options to choose from. Premium brand liquor supply was very limited. Nightly entertainment enjoyable. Putting aside some negatives, this trip overall was excellent.

Came into the room and it was not clean with sand on the ground. Stains on the chairs and coach. Furniture has noticeable wear and tear. House keeping did not fulfill a request on the 1st day, After 2 calls. Concierge had to go to house keeping to fulfill the request. Also the food was horrible. If you like raisins in your potato salad you will like the food. Jamaica Resturant was good and the Italian was good. But breakfast sucks everytime. Customer service needs a lot of work. 0 out of 10 do not recommend. However Kimisha and the concierge team was great. The sales team Claire and Akeem was great otherwise not the best in terms of interactions with staff.

Service in the bar areas were slow! Sometimes they were kinda grumpy! You stood there a bit before they would ask what you wanted! I know there are sometimes and certain people might not be the kindest to them, but the average person sees this as rude!!!

The property was spotless all employees very nice food was very good the room was very nice my butler was not alway available the phone i was givin to call him didnt work for me...im handicap and in a chair everything eas easy to get around on the resort and they allowed my husband and i to enter in waiting in lines...if u are handicap this is the place to go

Loved it ! Was my third time vacationing on property and definitely won't be my last!

There is a serious problem with dinning logistics, having to wait 30 tables or more than 3 hours to sit down (also de electronic devices dont work), all beach chairs were taken at 6am without ever seeing also many guest woken up at that time, no show on the hitt class that was on the itinerary, end of the year party was a total mess
