오래된 역사만큼 자부심 넘치는 료칸

중심가 호텔은 비싸서, 긴 여행 중에 자쿠지 있는 료칸에서 이틀 묵어보자 싶어서 선택했어요. 여행 중 많이 걸었기 때문에, 뜨거운 물에 푹 담가서 피로를 풀고 싶었어요. 방은 처음엔 작게 보이는데, 쓰다 보면 아늑하고 편하더라고요. 화장실은 공용이에요. 자쿠지 쓰려면 오전에는 30분씩, 저녁에는 40분씩 이용 가능하고 미리 예약해야 돼요. 아침식사는 왠만하면 포함하세요. 조식 불포함과 2인 기준 만원 차이인데 식사 맛있어요. 서양식은 여러 메뉴 중에 고를 수 있어서 좋고요, 일본식은 인당 100엔씩 추가하면 일본 가정식으로 차려줘요. 미리 차려놓은 뷔페식이 아니고, 주문하면 즉시 요리해 주세요. 위치는 번화가나 중심가가 아니고, 역에 내려서 좀 걸어야 돼요. 자쿠지는 좋았는데, 물에서 염소 냄새가 많이 났어요.

가성비 만족

생각보다 좁았지만 직원분이 너무 친절하시고 깨끗해서 좋았어요 주변 골목길들도 괜찮았음 화장실 샤워실이 공용인건.. 뭐 가격생각하면 ㅋㅋ

Staying at Andon Ryokan was perfect! It is close to the train station, and a lot of other places. The on site onsen is really well maintained, and the art tile.is so joyful. It's dark and low lit through the main areas, which gives it a sense of comfort like you are entering someone's home. The manager, Taka, is warm, kind, and very accommodating. He took great care in showing us everything we needed to know, and was very patient and someone who has a hard time understanding accented english. The food and coffee was also wonderful. My partner has a whole mackeral, and I had natto, which is a dish I am happy I had the opportunity to try. There's also tea available at any time. I highly recommend staying here if you can. The environment was stellar.

The facility and staff were excellent. The futons and bedding were very comfortable and the washrooms were bright and clean. The shared bathrooms were not an inconvenience and the art work in them and throughout the building were fantastic! We enjoyed the use of the private jacuzzi and rooftop patio and really appreciated the included breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, extensive, with a variety of choices, and served in a lovely eating area. After staying in other areas of Japan, our only criticism was that the location wasn’t close to some of the conveniences of restaurants or stores we could walk to for food. Other than that, we loved our stay and would highly recommend it. Such a cool building. So glad we were able to see and stay there! Thank you again to the very helpful and accommodating staff!

My stay was incredible, staff were very helpful and never hesitant to answer my questions. The ryokan is very charming and it feels homey, especially coming down for breakfast in the morning! Would definitely stay here again, it’s close to the train station too. Thank you!

This was the perfect introduction to my time here in Japan, and if I get the chance, I will come back. The staff were all very kind and helpful. The Japanese breakfast (I had the fish) was very delicious. The ryokan was quiet, though I always travel with wax ear plugs, and my sleep was very comfortable. I felt there was more than enough space for myself and my things in the room. The onsen was easy to book, I was lucky with lots of times to choose from, and it was very relaxing after a long travel. 10/10 would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quaint-yet-cool, thoughtful accommodation.

Great staff, felt really at home ❤️. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with convenience stores and transportation options nearby.

Le service du tout au tout a été 5 étoiles, on bougeait de ville en ville et ils ont pu réceptionner et garder nos valises le temps qu’on arrive et qu’on parte. Le ryokan est propre, bien aménagé avec de belels décorations, bien isolé, bien situé et avec un petit déjeuner bon et copieux donc c’est un 5/5 pour nous ! Merci à Taka et au staff pour s’être occupé de notre bref séjour Il y a même un jacuzzi que nous n’avons pas pu essayer mais que je conseillerais

Andon Ryokan is modernized to the point that it leaves very impersonal, cold impression. The room was spacious even for 3 futon mattresses but the walk to the shared bathroom was through a cold hallway (in March). To get to the showers you would have to climb industrial steel cold stairs with all your clothes change since the shower is on another floor. These trips were just cold, cold, - not enough heating. The bathrobes are not automatically given as it is in the pictures but you have to ask for them. The Japanese flip flops were given but without regards for the size: sometimes too small, sometimes too large, sometimes with straps so tight it was impossible to put your feet in them. The ryokan is rather at a distance to the metro, about 8 minutes walk, and the area is devoid of character, just bland buildings and highways. The person who met us at the ryokan reception spoke fast English but it was incomprehensible.

We liked the aesthetics, the antique collection, the manga murals, the background music, the tub, and the Japanese egg breakfasts were very good. One day we had the vegan breakfast and many of the steamed veggies were not that tasty. We got some great information about where to go nearby. I love my new Andon Ryokan shirt I bought there!
