호텔 뉴 와카사

오사카 우메다에서 놀다가 저녁 7시쯤 나라로 이동하기 시작해서 숙소에 8시에 도착했는데, 도착하자마자 추워보였는지 따뜻한 차를 먼저 주시고 웃으면서 반겨주셨습니다. 일단 호텔에 대한 첫느낌이 너무 좋았고 단란한 가족처럼 느껴졌습니다. 저녁 석시 먹구, 온천 즐기고, 방안에서 따뜻한 하루를 마무리 하였습니다. 다음날 아침 조식전에 간단히 또 온천을 즐기고 기분좋게 아침을 먹고 체크아웃을 하였는데, 나라에 전반적인 관광을 하기 위해서 캐리어를 저녁 5시까지 보관하였고, 관광을 하고 숙소로 다시 4시쯤 돌아와서 30분정도 휴식을 취한뒤 4시 30분에 짐을 들고 나갔습니다. 마지막까지도 너무 좋은 서비스 받고 돌아갑니다.

사진만큼 고급스럽지 않고 오래되었습니다. 겨울이라 온천을 즐기고 싶었으나 춥고 시설이 좋지 않음

나라 사슴공원과 가깝고 조용한 곳에 위치에 좋습니다. 현대식 건물에 전통의 료칸 방식이 어우러져 좋았습니다.

A spectacular stay at New Wakasa. The location is perfect, the staff incredibly kind and attentive, and the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were amazing. We also loved the thoughtful touches, especially the photo they took of us and the souvenirs. The baths were very clean and relaxing. 100% recommend.

First time at a Ryokan. Wonderful experience from when we first arrived until we left. Room was beautiful and private onsen was luxurious, we spent a lot of time there! 100% get the Breakfast and dinner package, it was such a unique experience with lovely traditional meals and it was very large portion for 2 people. They also provided a lot of free amenities that we could take home with us including photographs and a traditional pouch/bag. i would definitely recommend this Ryokan to anyone planning to visit Nara.

Die Zimmer waren makellos. Die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel war wunderschön. Wir würden jederzeit dort wieder übernachten.

Excellent location. We walked to the hotel with luggage from the train station,10 minutes down a cool street. Used a holylfy e sim for GPS and downloaded the Taxi Go App to get back to the train station for under $8. The New Wakasa staff made the absolute best check in, you have to go to experience it. Rolled out the red carpet, made sure we were comfortable from check in to check out. Breakfast was awesome, we did 1 japanese style and 1 western style. Both great, but Japanese style was such a lovely display. You can walk to the Deer Park, walk to temples. The Onsen was super nice and we both had the room to ourselves. The rooftop terrace gave us a beautiful sunrise view. I honestly feel this was one of my best hotel experiences ever, 5 stars in my opinion. The gift shop was cool and just 3 doors down, not towards the deer park, but the other direction was a really nice cookie and sweets shop.

If you’re looking for a Ryokan experience with the nicest staff, this is your place. Central to most sites and k-Nara station. We stayed on night in a traditional room and had a great experience

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Nara ! Full Immersion in Japanese Culture & the Roof Top 360 degree view of Nara is a fitting way to end the day.

A unique experience of more traditional accomodation. I enjoyed the private onsen on our balcony.

The staff was excellent. Sae greeted and welcomed us upon arrival and started the stay out in a great way.

Hotel New Wakasa lifts the fame of Japanese hospitality to another level. I have never been so welcomed by a hotel where their offering and servicing is so customer oriented, leaving a very impressive memory from start til checking out The quality on the catering side was slightly below par but was justified by the price they charged. All in all, it is a very nice accommodation to relax and the experience was well above expectations

Beautiful hotel!

Lovely place with the kindest staff and a beautiful onsen. My room had the sauna and there was a lot of traffic noise from the main road so maybe not ideal for light sleepers but overall a great stay.

Excellent accommodation. We arranged to have japanese Traditional dinner with 5 of us this time, and also traditional breakfast. They have hotel parking right at the front door and we enjoyed the walking distance (5 mins) to seeing the deer in Nara.

We cannot say enough great tings about this hotel. The staff was outstanding and the property is very traditional. We really enjoyed the personal touches and little details to welcome you during the check in process.
