Huge room with massage chair, amenities were fantastic and really enjoyed the hot spring and private bath. Location is very convenient, right next to the shopping street and less than 5 mins walk from the pier.

Everything about this property and the staff was fabulous. We had traditional breakfast and supper that were prepared and served flawlessly. Every dish and bite was flavorful and varied. There was an incredible variety of flavors, colors and textures. We had supper served in our room and it was a beautiful personal touch, with the servers explaining every dish and we were able to enjoy it as a relaxed, easy pace.
We will absolutely be staying here again next time we come to Japan.

Great room, amazing Japanese Ryokan. The room included dinner—a typical Japanese meal that was fabulous—and breakfast, walking distance to the floating Tori gate, and a fantastic rooftop viewing area with free drinks.

The room was in good condition, and the onsen functioned very well. The staff, however, for the first time since our 21 day trip began, were completely without English basic proficiency. So, even the most minor request took too long and was overly formalized (“please have a seat over there, while I work on your request” was sometimes ridiculous and time consuming. Secondly, it’s concierge to help us with restaurant reservations was inefficient and, again because or very poor English language skills, challenging. At least one manager and one desk person needs to speak Basic fluid English. You charge $900+ per night. Find properly skilled professionals.

El personal amabilísimo. Las habitaciones amplias y cómodas, el hotel con muchos servicios y amenidades. Excelentemente ubicado, a un par de minutos del Tori de Miyajima. Nos recogieron en el muelle del ferry (sin haber tenido que solicitarlo) y nos llevaron de vuelta a la salida. Ampliamente recomendable.

Fantastic location in the heart of Miyajima village. Just know that it's a bit of a walk from the ferry terminal, and part of the path is gravel, so might be a bit rough if you have rolling luggage. On check-out, they offered to drive us to the terminal, which was very welcomed. The hotel was fantastic.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Onsen im 4. Stock mit Blick aufs Meer, es war der Wahnsinn. Das Zimmer war groß und hat jeden möglichen Komfort geboten (Massagesessel, verstellbare Betten, Bar). Wir durften uns nach dem Check-in selbst unsere Yukata aussuchen. Es gibt eine Lounge auf dem Dach (toller Ausblick) und einen Loungrbereich darunter, beides läd zum verweilen und entspannen ein. Im Keller gibt es Gemeinschaftsonsen (getrennt nach Geschlechtern), diesen haben wir allerdings nicht genutzt. Sowohl im Erdgeschoss als auch im Loungebreich gibt es freie Getränke. Das schwimmende Tori Tor und der Schrein sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zum Fährterminal nur wenige Gehminuten und die Seilbahn ist auch fußläufig erreichbar.
