Oak Hostel Zen

Lokasi dekat dengan stasiun subway dan jawa. Disekitar penginapan (dari arah subway) hanya ada 2 minimarket, tapi kalau dari stasiun jar lumayan banyak tempat makan dan minimarket. Family room luas, Dapat kimono dan ada sofa bed, sesuai dengan gambar, hanya saja toiletnya bukan bidet (yang ada air). Kelemahan dari hostel ini adalah tidak ada elevator, hanya tangga biasa. Didisiapkan tenaga untuk naik turun tangga setelah paling travelling dan jangan lupa siapkan tenaga untuk angkat koper (meskipun dibantu oleh receptionis). Kebetulan kami dapat ruangan di lantai 3, jadi memang harus sedikit usaha.

very close to uguisudani station(JR) and iriya station(monorail). if you're muslim, there's 2 halal restaurants nearby (10-15mins walk). also close to ueno park. staffs are friendly. unlike most hostels in Tokyo, they allow us to stay in the room the whole day (some hostels require us to leave at noon). they will clean the room around 12pm - 3pm, so if you're hijabi and planning to stay in the room the whole day, make sure to wear your hijab. stayed in 10 bed dormitory. the room is spacious, a lot of space for opening luggage for each person in the room. the room has a bathroom and toilet. there's also another female bathroom outside. I stayed for 7 days and enjoyed staying here. Common lounge is comfortable. kitchen got anything you need, even rice cooker. Locker is also provided. The downside is the water in the bathroom. I'm not sure how it works but every few minutes the hot water will gradually become very cold, then I have to wait for another minutes so it will be hot again. sometimes it's too hot, a bit hard to control the temperature. I tried all the bathroom, and all works the same. I was staying on Winter season so I was freezing while waiting for the hot water come out again. other than the water, I had great experience staying in this hotel. Definitely will come back here again. Thank you oak hostel zen!

Small room at twin room. No elevator to higher level

The place located not too far from the JR station. The room for 8 person consider quite big. 3 shower room for guys. Reception really helpful. The price is nice also. Definitely considering to stay here again when crushing Tokyo. Thanx.

JR 역과 편의점이 매우 가까웠습니다. 침대가 편안했고, 식사 공간과 주방 공간도 넓었습니다. 와이파이도 빨랐습니다.

도쿄에 온 첫날부터 이 호텔을 선택했으면 좋았을 텐데 아쉽네요. 마지막 날에야 겨우 찾았어요. 깨끗하고 위치도 괜찮고, 공용 공간, 특히 주방도 좋았어요. 가성비 최고예요. 강력 추천합니다!

Lokasi bagus, sayang hostel tidak ada lift jadi ke kamar di lantai 2 bawa koper lumayan juga angkat melewati tangga.

Staff ที่เป็นผู้หญิง ที่เคาน์เตอร์ช่วง4ทุ่มวันที่19/4 แย่มาก บอกว่าหาเลขที่bookingที่เราแจ้งไม่เจอ บอกต้องจ่ายเงินถ้าจะเข้าพักทั้งที่ให้ดูที่capหน้าจอมา มีเลขbooking และระบุว่าชำระเงินแล้ว เถียงกันอยู่ตั้งนาน ทางเค้าบอกไม่มีเลขbooking แต่จิงๆแล้วคือไม่หา ไม่เช็ค พูดแต่ว่าไม่มี เสียเวลาเสียอารมณ์ สุดท้ายเค้าบอกขอเช็คก่อน ยอมให้เข้าพัก บอกถ้าหาไม่เจอจะเก็บตังค์ตอนcheck out พอถึงวันcheck out ไม่มีปัญหาอะไร คือถ้าที่พักมีพนักงานแย่ๆแบบนี้ คงเสียลูกค้าไปเยอะ เพราะพนักงานเ**ซ**คนเดียว

ที่พักหายาก อยู่ไกลจาก รถไฟฟ้า ประมาณ 1 กม. ไม่ได้ติดกับรถไฟฟ้าสายหลัก การเดินทางลำบาก ไม่มีลิฟ ให้บริการ สำหลับคนที่กระเป๋าใบใหญ่ และหนัก จะเป็นอุปสรรคมาก ไกลจากสนามบินนาริตะมาก ในห้องพัก ไม่มีน้ำดื่มให้บริการ ปกติ โรงแรม จะมีน้ำดื่มให้บริการตามจำนวนคนที่เข้าพัก แต่ที่นี่ไม่มี ราคาห้องพัก ไม่ต่างจาก โรงแรมทั่วไป ถือว่าแพงกว่าด้วยซ้ำ

I had a great experience stay in this property. The room is huge and the bed is comfortable, Very clean and cozy, the kitchen is large and the cooking equipment is very complete. 1 minute walking distance to Aeon convenient store, 4 minutes walk to onsen, very very close to Uguisudani and Iriya subway station. No reason for not coming back to this hostel. Oh, the staff, I mean all the front desk staff are so helpful and speak English well.

Place is near Ueno Station. The place is also quiet to have a good sleep. The attendants are also very helpful and welcoming.
