Ocean Nipponichi

This spacious, 1400 square foot two-bedroom apartment with kitchen, w/d, and very large bathroom was perfect for our party of five for three nights in Osaka. The hotel is very centrally located just 3 min walk from the Nippombashi subway station where we got a direct train our next destination, Nara, via the Kintetsu line. We probably could have taken the train from Kyoto to Osaka straight to that station but didn’t research it in time. The hotel is also 5 min from the dynamic and vibrant Dotonbori district, as well as the KUROMON food market. Shinsaibashi street shops are a few minutes walk. The train to Osaka castle and to Expo 2025 were very easily accessible from Nippombashi station. Our three teens absolutely loved the space and having their own full-sized beds in the large dormitory-style second bedroom, while my husband and I shared a cozy full bed in the connecting room next door. Check in and check out was easy if following instructions. The cleaning staff showed up promptly at 10am (Japanese efficiency) and we were able to stow our bags at rhe conveniently located luggage store next door for a nominal ¥500 fee per bag for the whole day. The 7-11 another 2 doors down was a huge plus. The location was perfect, space was great and value for money teriffic. The only complaints we had were getting the ac to work to combat inferno-like temperatures on arrival, and when we had trouble opening the keypad apartment door lock. But we still highly recommend it.

Convenient to 7-11 and train station. A little confusion about main lobby code instructions, but the customer support on Line was extremely quick to help with that. This is not a luxury type of unit but it worked out well for us!

It has a perfect location. We loved our stay and it is spacious. Close to everything. Highly recommended.
