합리적인 가격에 합리적인 서비스 숙소값이 전반적으로 비싼 도쿄에서 가성비 최고

게스트하우스의 불편함은 예상대로의 수준이었고, 게스트하우스의 매력은 예상외로 좋았다. 호텔숙박경험이 많은 사람은 불편해할 수도 있겠지만, 게스트하우스 숙박경험이 있는 사람은 '딱 게스트하우스만큼의 불편함'을 느낄 것 같다. 게스트하우스의 매력은 운영자의 마인드에 따라서 달라진다고 할 수 있는데, 이 곳 게스트하우스의 사장은 딱 게스트하우스에 어울리는 열린마인드와 백패커들에 대한 충실한 책임감를 가졌다고 느꼈다. 게스트하우스가 호텔만큼 편할때라면 숙박객이 몇명없을때일텐데 내가 숙박한 5박 6일 동안 항상 5명~9명이 붐볐던 것을 감안하면 '좋은 게스트하우스에 대한 냄새에 민감한 백패커들'이 많이 찾아오는 곳이라는 것을 알 수 있다. 게스트하우스의 '매력적인' 한 장면이 떠오른다.한국인인 나를 포함해 독일청년, 멕시코녀, 일본계아르헨티나녀, 캐나다청년, 한국계호주인일행, 중국일본유학생청년, 일본인녀, 영어일본어가능한 운영자 (상상을 돕고자 성별을 밝힘) 이렇게 11명이 늦은 밤 응접실에 모여서 서로 통역해주며 왁자지껄하게 즐겁게 보냈던 장면이 기억에 선명하다. 운영자의 책임감에 대해서는 칭찬하고 싶다. 역대 최강의 태풍으로 인해 모든 여행객이 외출을 못하고 숙소에 발이 묶여야 했던 날에, 다른 곳에 집이 있으나 그 이틀동안은 혹시 모를 사태를 대비하느라 게스트하우스에 머물며 직접 카레라이스를 만들어주기도 하고, 보드게임, 빔프로젝트 등을 동원해 최대한 지루함을 해소해주려 노력해주었던 점이 아주 인상깊었다. 추신 : 운영자인 타쿠상이 아티스트적인 감각이 있어서인지, 숙소사진 역시 실제느낌 보다는 잘 찍은 느낌입니다ㅋㅋㅋ

The Master was super-kind, facility was very well cleaned up, and people were very nice. couldn't have been better. All three of me and my friends were very satisfied. Recommendable.

Definitely don't come here, you'll regret it The staff are very rude the environment is very dirty and freezing cold

The staff is very rude. There is only one shower to be shared by alll. No proper desk for laptop or work. The free breakfast is bread and jam. Nothing else. One small table to be shared by all for meals and the light is broken. This is the worst of the 3 accomodations that I have stayed for this Japan trip.

共有スペースが暗かったのと0時で退去でした。また場所が分かりにくい。交通の便が良いのと安いのに簡単な朝食が準備されているのが良い。

Very helpful host, comfortable beds and a great atmosphere. I felt safe leaving my stuff behind, but there are lockers as well for small valuables. Well worth it for a solo traveller like me :)

I didn’t stay, but it’s great for what it is. I just couldn’t stay because I’m very claustrophobic and I underestimated how claustrophobic I was. The host is really nice. It’s a wonderful place if that’s a fit for you if you’re claustrophobic don’t go there but if you’re not, it’s fine. It’s very good for what it is but I didn’t stay.

リビングルームでの国際的なお客さんとの交流が本当に楽しかったです。ホストさんとも夜毎色んな話ができました。出入り自由のそれぞれのリズムに合わせた生活ができることも魅力のひとつです。僕はたっぷりと楽しむ事ができました。

Great for backpacking

The pictures on the website are completely different from reality. The person at reception is really rude. They won't let you sit in the common area after midnight and have ridiculous rules like you have to lock the door every time you go out. A truly awful experience.

This was the best experience I've ever had . I was nervous about going to Tokyo but Tak made me feel right at home . I enjoyed our conversations, laughs , and good times. The bed was amazingly comfortable that I slept soundly. Thank you Tak for everything. I'm looking forward staying again . 😃

It's okay for the money you're paying.

Tuk was an amazing host. I left an item there and he offered to ship it to my next hostel for free. He cares about his guests and will even help you with a map of where to go. The hostel beds were comfortable and rooms/ toilets were decently clean. It is also conveniently next to the train station.

The place was lovely if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay. The owner was amazing, our favourite person we met in Japan. Truly a kind and welcoming person who was fun to talk to and spend time with. Highly recommend if your on a budget.

Great host, clean, and we'll organized.

The host ‘greeted’ me with a threat - that if I don’t follow his rules, he’ll get angry and if I don’t like it I can go immediately and he’ll say I was a no-show. I’ve never stayed somewhere with such an oppressive atmosphere all thanks to the owner. He’s like a petty flatmate who leaves notes everywhere about drops of water on the floor, and huffs and puffs if he spots any…There are much bigger issues with this place, such as a lot of rubbish piling up in the kitchen daily, his stuff piled in the dorm room and all over, as he actually stays there too, stuffy musty dorm room as windows never opened so no air, most of all, the way he speaks to & treats people is very poor. I heard from several guests and had experiences myself. He doesn’t allow people to sit on the furniture after midnight, I was made to eat my dinner in the dark alley outside at night when I was sat just outside of the hostel entrance, because he said it ‘annoys the neighbours’, one day I was looking for ice cubes and he said so rudely ‘don’t touch’, shushing guests…so many instances. Generally rude, unwelcoming & bad vibes, discourteous doesn’t begin to describe him. In a country full of polite, helpful people he stands out for all of the wrong reasons. There’s nothing to do in that area so the extra money you think you’ll save, gets used on transport anyway. It’s cheap for a reason because he feels it entitles him to behave badly. take my advice and stay somewhere you’ll feel welcome and comfortable!

This was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. The place was dirty and neglected, nothing like the photos, which must have been taken years ago — it’s clearly not maintained anymore. Everything was dusty and unclean. On top of that, the host was extremely strict and got upset over the slightest noise, making the stay uncomfortable and stressful. I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone.

Very cool hostel! Has a chic coffee shop and clothing shop downstairs, host was extremely nice and made sure that people were comfortable, right next to Keisei Takasago station for easy commute. I had a great time talking and hanging out with host and fellow hostelmates, will be coming back!
