Very file. Clean, Safe Hotel in KISUMU I was stayed there 3 days, Swiming pool was also great

Staff was fantastic!!

The rooms as spotless and very spacious.

We are regular visitors to the Acacia hotel. We have always been satisfied with quality of service, professionalism of staff, and rooms and other facilities. Particularly enjoy having a drink or a meal by the pool. It is simply lovely. We highly recommend.

good stay. only issue was it takes a long time to get food served around the pool area, quite slow

We arrived from the UK without knowing what to expect. Honestly the hotel staff went above and beyond for everything. Our driver Ben was incredible and had ample knowledge of the area and it’s surroundings. Thanks all

Great staff

What a great stay at Acacia Premier! I had been staying at a competitor’s hotel not too far from here as I had been loyal to them for over 15 years. But, after they went under new ownership in recent years, and failed to deliver any meaningful change, I decided to try Acacia. I’m so sorry that I’ve waited so long! What a breath of fresh air for Kisumu. Thanks especially to Mary, Wycliffe, Otieno (gym), and Victor for their outstanding, impeccable, purely professional performance. I will absolutely be coming back again and again.

Excellent spot to rest in the heart of Kisumu. The hotel has all the expected amenities and more. It’s a welcome spot when exploring the beautiful Lake Victoria region.

Very friendly staff

Probably the best hotel in Kisumu. Convenient location. Was there for a work trip. Staff was courteous and professional. They had minor issues with printer and electricity shutdowns but nothing that was any kind of major inconvenience for my stay. Also enjoyed the restaurant menu.

Excellent staff especially Ayoub who provided friendly service at dinner and our final breakfast. Food was delicious!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The staff was pleasant and efficient. They seemed to be genuinely concerned about ensuring the safety and wellbeing of each customer. That made the business trip enjoyable.

Great location. Great staff

We spent two nights at Acacia Premier, including New Year’s eve, which was awesome with a buffet, live music by a great band and lots of fun. We also got to stay by the pool during our stay. Although there were only 4 sunbeds by the pool, we managed to get two. The food at the pool area was good. We also had breakfast included, which was good too. The room had a view over Lake Victoria. It was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The tiles in the bathroom were very badly done and we had expected a better standard for a hotel like this. However it was clean with good water pressure in the shower so it worked well in spite of the bad looking tile work. We had massage at the spa and it was incredible! The massage therapists are very professional and good at their work! Our only complaint for our stay is that the driver we had booked from the hotel to pick us up at the airport wasn’t there and we had to wait for quite a while and call the hotel several times before it finally arrived. This was really annoying since we had travelled for 24 hours and were really tired. However it all worked out in the end.

The sliding door to the room leads to a shared balcony with other rooms. Well the door was not secure, the locking mechanism was cheap and bent and could easily be opened by pushing it which puts valuables at risk for being stolen. That is my only complaint

The Acacia Hotel is overpriced and needs renovations. There was an issue with water in my bathroom and the internet was not stable. This made it difficult to work. Was also promised a view. The view of the lake was obstructed which needs to be better described. Management and staff were lovely, it is the ownership that needs to assess what they are offering and adjust the pricing.
