EKA Hotel provided a comfortable stay, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The lobby area was nicely furnished, with pleasant décor that created a warm first impression. However, the hotel’s transition during upgrades interfered somewhat with the overall experience. Our room’s television had not been fully programmed, leaving us with limited channels and no ability to sign into our streaming services. The guest room itself was simple, with no decorative wall features, and the bathroom was very plain. Overall, the stay was comfortable, but the in-progress upgrades were noticeable and affected some of the expected amenities.

Brilliant staff, clean rooms and great pool and massage faciliities. Ive stayed 3 times and would happily make this another base in Nairobi. One thing to note is Air con in rooms is often not great.

Purpose of stay was to refresh before a long travel segment. We didn’t stay the night. A better half day rate would be appreciated. The shower overflowed onto bathroom floor. The drain may have been blocked? We took hotel car service to airport. Driver was pleasant and efficient to explain the process at the airport - however our luggage ended up on a trolley being pushed by a young man who asked us for a “tip” so he could give a tip to the person at the entry of the terminal since he didn’t have credentials. He asked for 50 Euros. We pushed our cart in ourselves. A local would have known what the scam was. The room needs better lighting. The restaurant food on main level was very good. Friendly stuff and helpful. The hotel is comfortable, with good facilities and high security. The rooms are clean and calm. Convenient since it's close to the airport and other important facilities. I have stayed in this hotel twice and I have enjoyed both stays. Swimming pool is not heated but that's not a big deal. I felt at home, thank you Eka hotel.

Eka Hotel is a great choice in Nairobi! The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for airport access. Highly recommend for a smooth and relaxing stay.

Staff seem to have a certain way of accommodating white guests than other ethnic groups, i felt like i was just a guest not considered by the way my case was handled. This is not the first time in this hotel, i will seriously think twice before I book this hotel again

Toilet and shower are separate which is fine but both have no place to hang clothes/towel. Ventilation in toilets is poor.

Everything was up to standard and expectations. A big extra STAR for the service and reliability after I had accidentally left a small bag with 2 smart phones, numerous bank/ credit cars and various ID/ membership cards. Hotel management arranged for the forwarding of the bag with DHL within a few days. Exemplary service - everything intact.

Staff at check in was very helpful and welcoming. A relief after the long and unpleasant ordeal at the airport.

After a long day of work the staff and accommodations where a delight to come home to at my home away from home. It was really nice to have food and drink options available all the time!

Great stay… staff makes the difference!

The only complaint about Eka was the quality of the food was below what we have experienced at other locations,including camps, during our safari journey, but honestly we didn’t come for the food.

Internet access is terrific… spa is very good… food preparation is excellent!

Very friendly staff. Popular hotel for guests starting out on safari tours. We stayed three separate nights throughout our entire Kenya holiday. We only had the opportunity to try breakfast which had a decent selection. Not too far from the airport or to access central Nairobi. Overall a good base.

Great food… nice walking area

The Eka Hotel was a very positive surprise ... so I extended my 4 first nights with 7 more. Very well trained staff - exceptionally helpful and pleasant! Must add a unique experience: In the hurry to get off with taxi to catch my early morning flight, I forgot a small bag with my 2 smart-phones, a number of bank/ credit cards and a few other "small" things. I noticed it while still in the taxi on the way to the airport ... too late to return without missing my flight. Wonders above all wonders: When I opened my e-mail account at the Schipol Airport (AMS), the Eka management had already sent me a "Lost and Found" notification, specifying exactly what I had left behind. During the last couple of days I have communicated with the management and sorted out how to have the items returned to me. Exemplary attention!!!
