We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and the location and customer service is absolutely excellent. They could not do enough for us to be honest wonderful staff smiling and. Always there to help. Please do not go by cosmetic photos or outlook the rooms are clean with amenities and towels changed everyday. I cannot fault the hotel and we will book again

Looks like the property has seen better days. In dire need of remodel. Asked for ice to cool our drinks, therere was none. Booked for 3 seaview rooms but offered garden view. Not sure how to get the difference back. Staff advised i speak with Expedia.

This hotel is very simple and pleasant. The staff is amazing friendly and accommodating, always available to help. The beach is nice and very safe. The pool is always clean, the rooms are spotless and there are mostly Kenyans staying there so it doesn’t have a “touristy” feel. I highly recommend it!

There were some bed bugs which they got rid of once mentioned

Friendly staff. Clean swimming pool. However wifi was not working. I would appreciate a variety of foods for breakfast. Dinner was great.

Amazing view from the hotel room, fun activities; water polo, pingpong etc. Mr. Chaka was a great help. An Ok place to rest. I would come back for rest.

This was probably a grand hotel in its day...but needs a complete refurbishment and new management. The reception staff was friendly, the restaurant staff at breakfast disinterested. The room smelled damp and musty, but was at least clean. The internet went down regularly, “we are working on it”. Breakfast? No eggs available, no sausage or bacon. Bread, watermelon, chicken wings, cereal, local porridge and beans.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, wie sie an meinen Bewertungen sehen können, war ich mit dem Hotel zufrieden. Natürlich ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen, aber das wurde durch das hilfsbereite und sehr nette Personal wieder ausgeglichen. Mir ist bewußt das Affen zu Kenia gehören, und diese während den Essenszeiten da sind, nur es kann nicht sein daß diese noch vom Personal gefüttert werden, wie von mir beobachtet. Bitte geben sie mir dazu eine entsprechende Nachricht.

Fint hotell renligt bra mat trevlig personal bra strand och pool. Närområdet var lite tråkigt

With the benefit of hindsight, Kenya has always shed an element of surprise upon each incremental journey. Perhaps the time was more suited to a couples' only affair but with the whole family, I'd rather not add any remarks in case I spoke too soon.

Old hotel close to beach, with beautiful pool in midst of lush green park. However, room was hardly comfortable, aircon made terrible noise in the night and hardly working, mosquito net not tight, smelly towels and no amenities in the bathrooom. Altogether rather a run down place with terrible breakfast. Check in let me wait for half hour even though it was already 5pm. Changed the hotel even though I had paid already, to adjacent Kenya Beach Hotel which is similar price but much better

Nice hotel but need upgrade. Room smelling mold and desk in room was rusted

The staff is attentive, but the decor of hotel is dated. Old beds, furniture, sheets, lining, etc. It can do with a fresh coat of paint and some repairs. They also need to consider how to proactively keep the rooms free of mosquitoes. Needed to get spray to kill mosquitoes in room. We had a late evening , 10pm, and the allowed a very late check out, 4PM. An example of how nice the staff was to us. They just need to update the dated decor.
