i was more than satisfied staying here. very friendly and helpful staff with malaysian smiles. very quiet, convenient place, 2min walk to the beautiful beach, and with cute and friendly cats!! i stayed at a dorm with shared bathroom. the room was clean. i will definitely stay here again in the near future!!

You get what you pay for. Nothing special with this property but the bed and bathroom were clean. Only issues are the large gap between the base of the door and the floor which let in many ants and mosquitoes, and the ancient pillows that smell a bit mildewy. Other than that, it’s close to the beach and restaurants, and was basically what we were looking for.

This property was located near Pantai Cenang by walking few minutes. Staffs were very friendly and nice. Location was very good as you can walk to have your dinner just in front of the property. We spent all three nights enjoyed walking along Jalan Pantai Cenang after having our dinner. The room was clean with kettle. Iron will be given by request. Overall, it was a nice place to stay!!

We stayed in Kampung guest house 11 nights in total in January. We booked the fan room at first, but after 4 nights, we upgraded to air con room, because it was impossibly hot in the fan room, even when we held the window open. The air didn't move around at all and keeping the window open brings in a lot of mosquitos. Air con room however was very nice and clean, worth the 50% extra. Location is perfect with a short walk to the beach, stores and restaurants.

We booked the room with a fan only as we had stayed in a room like that in Langkawi before and it was fine. However, we don't know if it's the room or the area, but the heat is unbearable during night and morning, although we kept the windows and door open in the evening to cool the place down. This brouht in a lot of mosquitoes. After 4 nights we talked with the management and upgraded to a air con room and it's perfect, much cleaner and newer and the sleep is blissful. For a longer stay, definitely pay a little more and get the air con room!

只有风扇的三人间，所有设施都灰常简陋，就是胜在地理位置够好。龙蛇混杂的住客，心理安全度很低。其实当地人都狠友善，住远一点偏一点都没关系，真的要住好一点。 WIFI经常断线不说呐

Arvotelu koskee huonetta 110 jossa ilmastointi. Siistikuntoinen suihkutila, AC ja fan katossa- Great! Wifi ankea, muttei haittaa jos omat yhteydet on kondiksessa muutoin. Ei 24h respaa, jos jollekkin isoa merkitystä. Mielestäni kaikki kävelyetäisyydellä, varsinkin beach. Siivouksen saa pyytämällä, ei ongelma. Varaa ihmeessä, ei tässä korkealta oikee voi tipahtaa.

Quick and easy check in. We were given a room with two single beds and they gladly switched us to a room with a double bed. The room is nice and large, clean, and surprisingly mosquito free. Also, for being a fan room, it's not too hot. The bathrooms however, are terrible. Many mosquitos, dirty, always wet, no toilet paper only a short hose on the wall no bidet, one doesn't even lock, and the showers are low and not very good. All in all, it's a cheap place that is really good as long as you don't mind the terrible bathrooms.

I really enjoyed my 3 nights / 2 days on Langkawi, based at the Kampung Guesthouse. My fan only room suited me fine, and it was good to have a kettle. The location was good for exploring the rest of the island (by bicycle in my case), for a swim on the local beach after my activity - and then for finding something to eat in the evening, without having to go too far. The price was fair, for this area.
