The children’s pool was perfect for my three year old son!

Great resort. Friendly staff. Be mindful that you might hear airplane noise due to International Airport.

1) Given a smelly safety vest during travelling in boat. No point of dressing up nice and wearing perfumes as this smelly safety vest overpower your perfume. Its filthy to wven look at. 2) Not included hair dryer in our stay. 3) They prepared only one buggy for arrival to pick especially during midnight and others need to wait for dropoff instead of preparing 2 or more buggy to pickup as they knew everytime there will be large number people on arrival. 4) Cleanliness is not up to standard. 5) Boat departure and arrival timing are very limited especially for an island which comes with a lot of activities.

Rebak Island is a haven in the sun. Really quiet location. The ferry across to the island is fast and fun – but too infrequent and its not great to wait especially at check-in time. But don’t let that put you off; its inconvenience is a minor issue when compared with the tranquillity and relaxation of the island once you get there. Check-in on the island was swift, professional and warm. All of the staff were amazingly friendly. We arrived late so quick shower then to the bar for happy hour. The bar is small but very well served with a wide range of drinks. And during happy hour the prices are very reasonable. The live music was fun. Breakfast has a good selection including beef bacon (amazing) – who knew? The pool is wonderful. And its open until 11pm. Beautifully warm for a long relax with service bells at the sun loungers until about 5pm – if you really can’t walk the 30 feet to the beach bar or swim across the pool to its own bar. There is a small shop on the island which was convenient and reasonable. The room was good with excellent air conditioning and a small fridge for your own drinks or the supplied water. Only issue was half the island had a power issue on our last night so needed to move for the last night. This was handled well and very professionally by the team. We benefited from a better room (203) for this last night which was really lovely. We would stay here again - thank you. You made our holiday memories come alive.

The island is peaceful and beautiful, and the restaurant serves delicious food. On certain days of the week, they offer a buffet, but it’s overpriced considering the quality and what you get. I would recommend going for the à la carte menu instead. Now, the reasons I wouldn’t book this hotel again: At the pool and on the beach, there are flies and bugs everywhere—you can’t lie down and relax without being disturbed. The room we had was spacious but very outdated and poorly maintained. There was mold throughout the bathroom, the sealant was black, the bathroom cabinets were falling apart, and the air conditioners were so noisy that it was hard to sleep. We heard similar complaints from other guests. Also, be aware of the boat schedule—it can be tricky, especially when arriving

Sehr schönes Hotel

The staff were excellent and the music at night was exceptional. Great location. Rooms need minor update in bathrooms. We will go back again.

We loved the resort! The buildings were a little old and damaged but very clean. Brokn tiles in shower base. Suggestions would be better promotion of activities. We found the handout on our last day and a teenage kids club or activity coordinator. So many bored kids getting around.

Excellentissime resort, probablement le meilleur de Langkawi. Service aux petits soins, aménagements de premier ordre, petit déjeuner royal. Absolument aucune chose à redire, tout étai parfait !

On arrival were 1st off the boat and 1st to reception. 45 mins later, we were finally checked in after all other guests had already been given their keys and were taken to their rooms. The check in process was a disorganised shambles. We also had issues with the boat transfer back to the island one evening. there was space on a boat for my wife and I but we were told to wait a few minutes until the next one departed. they had just started boarding when a large group including other guests who rocked up, straight out of a taxi and walked straight on and it was full before we could board. a couple of minutes wait turned into a 30 minute wait with 2 boats leaving without us. by way of apology for the issues we experienced, the took approx 40 MYR off the bill. barely enough for 1 cocktail. so generous the resort is lovely but I would not recommend staying here.

Apart of being the highest category of room selected it the noisy because of the wodden ceiling above all the guest roaming around in their room was creating a lot of disturbances, also they haven’t maintained the furniture & toilet properly. The outdoor, the view & the pool were pretty decent.

Beautiful resort in fabulous location

Absolutely loved Rebak, from the journey across on the boat, to the transportation to the hotel. Beautiful and tranquil hotel with staff go above and beyond.

Resort in its day would have been great. It needs some $$$ spent on it !

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön nur schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Liegen vor Ort ohne Auflage und sehr unbequem. Im Restaurant haben wir einmal zu Abend gegessen (Burger), Essen war leider kalt. Sonst kann man gut mit der Fähre an Land fahren und dort essen gehen. Die Fähre ist kostenfrei. Zimmer war super und sehr groß.

I would have given the resort a score of four except for the ferry schedule. I was aware of the issue before booking but the reality was worse than expected. When we arrived (by air), we weren't quite able to make the 2.30pm ferry and there's a massive gap of 2.5 hours to the next ferry. Every ferry we went on was packed and, for half of them, they had to use a second boat. It would make far more sense and better customer service to change to an hourly schedule, which would only require, at the most, five extra return trips The facilities were excellent except for the bed base, which stuck out from the mattress and even had posts on which I split my toe open. One other minor issue was that the toilet roll holder was in a very awkward location, despite not needing to be. Keep an eye open for the beautiful Hornbills and Kingfishers.

We read all the reviews of this hotel before booking and weren’t expecting 5star luxury but the hotel seemed good value and located where we wanted to be. The moment we stepped off the boat onto the island we knew we had made a great choice. All the staff were friendly, relaxed and made you very welcome. They seemed happy doing their jobs. The island is a paradise for wildlife.Everywhere is walkable and you never know what bird it animal you will find round the next corner…..and the monkeys! There is also an aviary hidden away with budgerigars and peacocks who look forward to 10am & 4pm feedings which you are invited to join. Yes , the buildings are a little tired but clean and comfortable and if you want to pay 4 times the price there are plenty of other 5star hotels but I doubt we would have enjoyed it half as much as we did!
