Great family holiday at the resort. Staff were great and doing everything possible to help.we had an amazing stay and would love to come back again. Thank you all !

We had stayed at Rebak Island Resort about 10 years ago when it was managed by Taj, and returned for a 5-day stay this time. The natural setting is still beautiful and the private beach remains a highlight, but the property feels dated and service is not at the same level of consistency or polish that we experienced during the Taj era. Positives: • The private beach is stunning, with especially beautiful views from the sea view rooms. • Convenient ferry transfers to Cenang Beach gave us easy access to a wide variety of restaurants and bars. • Breakfast was decent, with a fair selection (though weaker on Indian options compared to the Taj days). • Kayaking was easy to book directly through the hotel and turned out to be an enjoyable activity. Negatives: • The property feels dated, with worn fixtures, limited plug points (only one US-friendly), and a poorly maintained bathroom. The water heater also ran excessively hot, to the point of being a potential hazard. • Service was inconsistent. Some staff, such as those at breakfast and room service, were very attentive, while others, particularly at the pool bar and Indian food station, were disengaged. • Dinner at the hotel’s à la carte restaurant was underwhelming, which led us to dine in Cenang for the rest of our stay. Overall, still 4/5 because we value the private beach the most, and the remaining annoyances are things we can live with.

Love place for quiet and relax time.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l’hôtel Rebak Islande. Que ce soit le confort des chambres, la piscine ou encore le restaurant, tout était vraiment à la hauteur de nos attentes. Toutefois, je recommande à l’établissement de procéder à un nettoyage plus régulier des plages afin de préserver l’environnement et la beauté de la mer.

The resort was absolutely beautiful, the staff were lovely. Loved the pool and swim up bar and beach bar. Negatives, its on the flight path and its very busy and noisy. The resort was looking tired. Loved our stay

Amazing place, with a true resort feel. Beautiful pool, private beach kept clean, seaview room was perfect. Staff we're so friendly & helpful. Hiking around the island was awesome, we saw heaps monkeys, lizards, birds etc Boat transfer to the mainland is frequent, if you can drag yourself from paradise

Affascinante l’idea dell’isola, ma struttura vecchia senza fare manutenzione. Cibo ok, basico. Poca organizzazione ma impegno nell’accoglienza e in caso di problemi

Great resort. Friendly staff. Be mindful that you might hear airplane noise due to International Airport.

1) Given a smelly safety vest during travelling in boat. No point of dressing up nice and wearing perfumes as this smelly safety vest overpower your perfume. Its filthy to wven look at. 2) Not included hair dryer in our stay. 3) They prepared only one buggy for arrival to pick especially during midnight and others need to wait for dropoff instead of preparing 2 or more buggy to pickup as they knew everytime there will be large number people on arrival. 4) Cleanliness is not up to standard. 5) Boat departure and arrival timing are very limited especially for an island which comes with a lot of activities.

Rebak Island is a haven in the sun. Really quiet location. The ferry across to the island is fast and fun – but too infrequent and its not great to wait especially at check-in time. But don’t let that put you off; its inconvenience is a minor issue when compared with the tranquillity and relaxation of the island once you get there. Check-in on the island was swift, professional and warm. All of the staff were amazingly friendly. We arrived late so quick shower then to the bar for happy hour. The bar is small but very well served with a wide range of drinks. And during happy hour the prices are very reasonable. The live music was fun. Breakfast has a good selection including beef bacon (amazing) – who knew? The pool is wonderful. And its open until 11pm. Beautifully warm for a long relax with service bells at the sun loungers until about 5pm – if you really can’t walk the 30 feet to the beach bar or swim across the pool to its own bar. There is a small shop on the island which was convenient and reasonable. The room was good with excellent air conditioning and a small fridge for your own drinks or the supplied water. Only issue was half the island had a power issue on our last night so needed to move for the last night. This was handled well and very professionally by the team. We benefited from a better room (203) for this last night which was really lovely. We would stay here again - thank you. You made our holiday memories come alive.

The island is peaceful and beautiful, and the restaurant serves delicious food. On certain days of the week, they offer a buffet, but it’s overpriced considering the quality and what you get. I would recommend going for the à la carte menu instead. Now, the reasons I wouldn’t book this hotel again: At the pool and on the beach, there are flies and bugs everywhere—you can’t lie down and relax without being disturbed. The room we had was spacious but very outdated and poorly maintained. There was mold throughout the bathroom, the sealant was black, the bathroom cabinets were falling apart, and the air conditioners were so noisy that it was hard to sleep. We heard similar complaints from other guests. Also, be aware of the boat schedule—it can be tricky, especially when arriving

The staff were excellent and the music at night was exceptional. Great location. Rooms need minor update in bathrooms. We will go back again.

We loved the resort! The buildings were a little old and damaged but very clean. Brokn tiles in shower base. Suggestions would be better promotion of activities. We found the handout on our last day and a teenage kids club or activity coordinator. So many bored kids getting around.

Excellentissime resort, probablement le meilleur de Langkawi. Service aux petits soins, aménagements de premier ordre, petit déjeuner royal. Absolument aucune chose à redire, tout étai parfait !
