Well managed by friendly persons but a bit noisy as it is located in the center. But I would like to recommend to backpackers or long term travelers without kids

오래된 건물임에도 깨끗하게 관리되어 있었는데 3층방의 경우 계단이 가팔라서 좀 힘들었습니다. 주위 거리는 깨끗한 편인데 조용하지 않습니다. 맘에 든 숙소입니다.

가성비 최고의 호텔! 페낭 조지타운에서는 헤리티지 인에서 숙박하는 것도 좋은 경험이라 들어 여러 숙소를 고민하던 중 상대적으로 저렴한 호텔이었던 렌 이 탕 헤리티지 호텔로 결정했다. 사실 예약을 결정하게 된 계기는 내부 사진들 때문이었는데, 실제로 보니 사진보다 훨씬 예쁜 호텔이었다. 오래된 건물을 리모델링 하였기 때문에 계단이 좁고 가파르지만 운치있고 고풍스럽다. 방 내부와 샤워실은 나름 넓고 무척 깔끔하다. 침구도 깨끗하고 따뜻했다. 에어컨과 팬도 고장 없이 잘 작동하고 있었다. 묵었던 방은 발코니 룸이었는데, 호텔에 유일하게 하나 있는 방으로 정원을 내려다볼 수 있어 무척 아름답다. 호텔 1층은 비스트로 탕이라는 이름의 식당이 있는데, 저녁에는 다양한 메뉴를 제공하고 있고 가격이 조금 있지만 깔끔하고 맛이 좋다. 무엇보다 호텔 로비의 직원이 무척 친절하고 다정하며, 관광에 필요한 정보를 많이 가르쳐주어 도움이 되었다. 지리적으로는 북쪽의 콘월리스 요새와는 가까웠지만, 리틀 인디아 한가운데에 위치하다보니 말레이 식당과 술집이 많은 츌리아 거리를 가기 위에서는 5분 정도 걸어야 한다. 쿠 콩시 등 관광지들도 조금 걸어야 하지만 5-10분 정도면 도착할 정도로 멀지는 않기 때문에 이동에 큰 어려움은 없다.

전체적으로 좋았어요, 무척더운곳인데 조지타운 주변을 돌아보고 돌아와 조용히 쉬다가 나가서 다시 주변을 즐기기에 좋았고, 샤워시설도 깨끗했고, 주인장도 무척친절 했어요. 다음에 또한번 들르고 싶은곳입니다.

Great location, lots of street noise during the day, but not a problem at all after 10pm. Friendly staff, and a good mix of options in the breakfast

It was great hotel located at the heart of little India Penang. The hotel itself retain its originality of the heritage. Best part the hotel has lift.

The hotel is located in the vibrant Little India , close from every sightseeing sites of George Town Exceptionnal staff (kind, smiling & always available). The hotel was clean and the room (#17) was spacious with all the requirements a person needs

Glad I chose to stay here. My room was spacious, cool, and very comfortable. The noise from the street is significant but thankfully it’s quiet at night. The ambiance is unique. The staff is genuinely kind. But they need to break out the paint brushes because some surfaces, especially in the bathrooms, are pretty funky. I’ve stayed at campgrounds and hostels with nicer, hotter, showers :)

Incredibly unique property that used to be an old herb shop now tastefully refurbished into a boutique hotel. They kept all the old stuff from years past on display, and while it had modern amenities it still maintained that old charm. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay here. At first we weren't sure if we were entering the lobby or an antique shop but once we were inside we were greeted warmly, our suitcase was whisked upstairs using an ingenious rope pulley, and we were immediately immersed in a place where every single piece of decor was clearly carefully considered to fit within the antique style. Despite the old school surrounds, there were modern comforts like air conditioning, and every part of the hotel was also spotlessly clean (while retaining character). We stayed in a family room with our 2 kids aged 7 & 9, and there was plenty of room for the whole family. We had our own room with a door, while the kids had two single beds in the wider area. I especially appreciated their efforts to reduce their environmental impact by serving filtered water in glasses, even their bins were lined with old newspaper instead of plastic bags. If you stay here, make sure you have at least one lunch or dinner at the cafe downstairs, it was so delicious and packed with local flavours. Their breakfast selection was also surprisingly wide and super tasty, including nonya desserts and roti which my son loved. Location couldn't be better, you're a short walk from all of Georgetown's attractions. Overall I think we enjoyed our stay here more than our beach resort. If you see this hotel has availability, I urge you to book immediately, it's a real gem.

歴史ある建物を上手に活かした宿泊施設で、古き良きジョージタウンを宿泊することで感じられた気がする 1階土間の部分で靴を脱ぎ，裸足のまま古い階段を登って部屋に行く 部屋の扉はオートロックでカードキーに変わっていて，セキュリティも安心できた 窓などは古いままのつくりで、ロックの仕方もおもしろかった 宿の方々はとても親切で、滞在中観光や食事について色々相談にのっていただいた 次にジョージタウンを訪れることがあれば，ぜひ宿泊先として考えたい

かつて中華系の薬行をしていた家屋をリノベーションした宿。素材は古いが、うまく改築されているので、かつての住人の気持ちを追体験できる。わたしにとって最初の宿泊がこうした歴史にすこしふれられたのが嬉しかった。 風通しのよい中庭から最上階に設置された通路を登ると、昔風の屋根と家並の広がり、そして入道雲が見えた。朝食は素朴だがおいしいトーストやフルーツをのんびりながら印象深い時間を過ごすことができた。 歩いて5分ほどでフリーバスCATの乗り場があり、これがバスセンターのようなコムターに行くので、とても便利

Ren I Tang was amazing. Every detail of the property was beautiful and I enjoyed everything about it. Shower gel, shampoo, coffee, breakfast just enough and perfect. The owners were helpful and welcoming and quiet and just perfect. I strongly recommend.

The antiquity and beautiful scene of the hotel itself and surroundings. The neighborhood is so warm and cultural by nature. I love also the staff and management of the hotel, very friendly and professional.

Staff were wonderful. Made us feel totally at home at this beautiful, historic building. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a really convenient and thoroughly enjoyable location in historical George Town. Look forward to visiting again next time we’re in Penang.

A lovely experience in a restored guest house, with generous and kind owners. An actual 'heritage' place, unlike other hotels claiming the same. Highly recommended if you want to stay in the UNESCO heritage zone. Also the food in the cafe was so delicious!

Loved this hotel. It's an old historic building impeccably and sensitively remade as lodging, with the character lovingly preserved. Delightful, interesting breakfasts. Good bathroom. Great staff, very helpful. We also had the best meal of our Georgetown stay in their cafe, and that's saying something. Located in the most vibrant section of town, with all the color and flavors of India right outside your door. We had a wifi router right in our room, and good AC as well as a ceiling fan. Perfect for anyone who loves history and doesn't mind climbing steep wooden stairs.

Tranquility of the accommodation despite the hustle and bustle of the streets! :) Very quiet rooms that allowed us good nights’ rest. The hosts were the best! If you need advice on which room best suits your needs, you can contact the hosts. The staircase may not be young children/ elderly/ pregnant lady friendly but the quaint preservation of it certainly adds flavour to the well conserved building.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The property is unique and very nice but the stairs need to be gotten used to.
