Simple hotel. But ok for a night or two

The room was small but satisfactory. Could have used some cleaning for sure

Rooms are clean. It is dated and things are not 100%. For one night it was a good fit for us.

Room very clean, but fixtures and fittings a bit damaged and not well maintained. Probably worth paying a bit extra for seaview as city view was a bit ugly & noisy.

A convenient hotel for a night before you head off on other adventures.

Overnight stay, arrived late at night and left in the morning. Room was decent and clean. Pillows were way too fat. Ended up using my towel.

Very noisy at night

An alarm from a building next door went off about 17 times around 1pm and continued until around 9pm. When contacted reception staff they were at a loss to support us and informing that they were unable to contact the building owner and would ring our room with an update, this never occurred

A very basic hotel in need of modernization. Given the price, it was okay.

Nice enough room, great location and excellent staff, comfy bed, only issue was a bad smell that came from the drains, the staff were quick to spray the drains for us but it only temporarily masked the smell. Didn’t affect our stay massively but would have been nice to not have an odour. Would still recommend for a short stay in sandakan!

The hotel is in a great location, right on the waterfront and there is no shortage of eating places nearby. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The extractor fan from the hotel kitchen made the rooms at the front somewhat noisy in the morning and evening. Breakfast was very good.

Basic accomodation - served its purpose. We thought there was a problem with the air conditioning, and they responded quickly and thankfully the remote simply needed new batteries. There was some nearby music/street noise at around 9pm that would have been disruptive, but it did not go too late. Location is handy. Love the memorabilia!!!

nice hotel, central area for walking

Das Zimmer war in Ordnung und sauber. Das wifi war erst Katastrophal und als ich mich beschwert habe, wurde es auf die Telekom vor Ort geschoben. Jedoch war es dann plötzlich seit diesem Abend um Welten besser ;) Das Frühstück war auch lecker, jedoch wurden leere Platten nicht nachgefüllt. Schade ist, dass die Mentalität der Menschen so über den dreck in Öffentlichkeit hinwegsieht. Das Meer wo man direkt drauf schaut ist voller Plastikmüll und keinen stört es oder keiner fühlt sich bemüßigt etwas aufzuräumen, das ist sehr traurig.

Hotel Review I recently stayed at Elopura Hotel and had a mixed experience. Despite being only three years old, the hotel looked quite dated and did not match the vibrant pictures shown online. The facilities, including the gym and furniture, appeared to be poorly maintained, which was disappointing. Additionally, the bed was uncomfortably hard, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. It's also important to note that parking is not guaranteed at this hotel, which can be a hassle for guests with cars. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and accommodating, which added a nice touch to my stay. The highlight for me was the stunning sunrise view in the morning - it was truly breathtaking. If you're not particularly interested in visiting the nearby wet market, I would recommend considering other areas, as there are many convenient options available for those with a car. Overall, I would suggest looking for other accommodations if you're seeking a more modern and comfortable experience.

The people were very friendly and the staff were good, but the hotel is very noisy with the music every night until 11pm

All gpod for yhe country and area. Not 5 star but ok and great staff

This is a little gem on the seaside walk. Terrific breakfast and the staff were amazing. Also the quirky music collections were a nice added touch. The beds are a bit firm and it’s not a luxury hotel but the price reflects it. I would stay here again!
