Victory suites

Good central location, clean and spacious room as shown in the photos. The infinity pool is exactly as shown with the fantastic view, and the gym a floor below is also nice. You order room service for things like free bathrobes or even food delivery through a provided QR code. The check-in process was terrible, mainly due to lack of communication. There are two twin buildings that are mixed hotel/residential usage, with several hotel desks in each building. You want to go to the Platinum Suites 2/The Face STYLE building (not The Face SUITES), and then look for the LUMA desk. This information should have been given to us before our arrival, but we finally told this after calling their number on Whatsapp after going back and forth between the buildings multiple times. The line at the desk was also quite long and slow.

Great location, nice, spacious room, comfortable with good gym. Check-in however was a nightmare, nobody seems to know where this place is, we were sent from one building to the other, from desk to desk carrying our heavy bags around until we finally found the right place. 500 MYR deposit for the key is also pretty steep, not had this anywhere else in Malaysia. The lifts are also a nightmare, they’re way too busy for the 4 lifts in operation, takes ages to get up and down. Pool was also shut every time we tried to go and use it, despite this it was still heaving with people up there. We also had little ants all in the sofa and the rug looked like it had blood stains on it.

The apartment had 2 spider webs in the toilet and a spider sitting there too. Both toilets were gross, towels were bad quality- we had to constantly request for towels rather than washing n using them again. The rug in the lounge room had stains all over, very unclean. Air conditioning generator was near the bedroom and it was so noisy, I couldn’t sleep because it was so loud. The area was too noisy as well. Do not recommend.

I’d definitely not recommend this place. We got there and it’s so confusing even understanding what disk you’re supposed to check in to. Once finding it we didn’t have the deposit in cash and asked for an atm (since it would take a few months to get the money back to a debit card) and they just waived some direction and pretty much stopped talking to us even though they were standing right in front of us. We found the atm and got our room key and the first thing we notice when we get in to the room is the intense smell of cigarette smoke. We let the reception know immediately so they don’t accuse us for it and charge us from the deposit. They send over a “crew member” to “spray air freshener” in the room. We thought we’d go up to the pool while waiting for the smell to disappear. Pool was super crowded with millions of people jumping and screaming. We came back to the room and noticed the cigarette smell was back and when we sat down we saw small bugs all over the room. I’d say they looked like lice but bigger in size. A lot of them. We had enough and asked to change room. They sent the guy back to spray the room again and tried to ignore us wanting to switch rooms. We went down to the lobby and made it clear we aren’t staying in that room. Got a new one with a little less cigarette smell and ants instead of the other bugs we had in the previous room. Don’t book this place. It’s terrible.
